Our dog is named Belle, which means beautiful. We got her after one of our first dates (she looked just like my wife's old dog and we named her that because we went to downtown in Louisville to the BELLE of Louisville (a boat) and the BELLvadere (a riverfront park).
But if you see her, she's a scruffy old mutt, so I don't know if that name fits! ;D
