Has anyone seen this? I saw it earlier today and I actually thought it was surprisingly well made (although, as usual with remakes, not as good as the original) considering it is a remake of a classic horror movie that is only rated PG13. Without giving too much away, one problem with the movie though is that the classic line told to "Jill" over the phone by the police is not spoken for quite some time in this version (unlike in the original in which it was said quite early on and that scenario actually served as the general idea for the beginning of the first "Scream" movie). So anyone who has eithjer seen the original or has half a brain who has seen the trailer (that line never should have been in the trailer for this version because you realize that it gives too much away while you are watching the movie) won't be fooled by the many early false scares. For a horror movie this is bad because it takes potential tension away from the audience. But overall, this movie is a credible horror flick that I would recommend seeing- especially at either a matinee or on dvd.

I remember seeing the old one years ago, but with all the phone technology, just found this one hard to believe in this day and age.
I'll probably catch it at the 2nd run theater for a couple of bucks! ;D
