Just wanted to say, if anyone didn't know, that Al Lewis aka "Grandpa" from the Munsters died this past week.
For me, just thanks for the memories. I could watch the Munsters all day. One of my favorite all-time shows. I wish the wife would take the hint and buy me the DVDs though!!!
RIP Grandpa!!!

I love how most news sites are completely ommiting the fact that this guy spent the last three decades helping to finance and distribute porn. He proudly promoted this on an HBO special and on an A&E John Holmes documentary a couple of years back.
This doesn't necessarily diminish his role as the cranky-cool grandpa Munster, but it is interesting how this is overlooked.

I think when someone passes on like this, for the most part, we try to focus on positive things that they did instead of bringing up all of the negatives.

Well, there were a few things that did get me a tad sick about "Grandpa". Ring pointed out the porn stuff and I could add he wanted drug laws passed and was anti-death penalty...but I only want to point out his time on the Munsters, since I loved the show
Anything else, yeck
