Rocky

Rhinestone was a great movie. Stallone was great in it... unfortunately Dolly is in it though with her mutated watermelon boobs.

Mr. T made a good opponent for Rocky, but the movie Rocky III was one long series of matches and training sequences.

Summary of Rocky III:

1. Clips of Rocky's matches as Eye of the Tiger plays
2. Short scene at Rocky's house
3. Rocky vs. Thunderlips
4. Short scene as Rocky is given statue
5. Rocky trains and underestimates Clubber
6. Rocky vs. Clubber
7. Micky dies, Rocky is sad
8. Rocky loses confidence but Apollo starts training him
9. Lots of training with unmotivated Rocky
10. Lots of training with motivated Rocky
11. Rocky vs. Clubber

I just recently caught Rhinestone again on one of the movie channels.

I thought the script was good...I thought Parton (given her lack of training) was great...I thought Stallone was a horrid choice to play off of her. I thought a better choice would have been Travolta who can carry a tune and dance.

P.S. I also saw Paradise Alley again...not a good movie but it had several wrestlers in it including Terry Funk in a prominant role...but the real reason for mentioning it...Stallone sang the title song...well...sang may not be the proper term...he did the vocals for it shall we say.
