I figure most of you have heard already...
Just wanted to post this. Makes me sad. Of the Big Three Anchors, Peter Jennings was the face of the news to me. He announced his cancer only four months ago and died last night.
An era has truly ended.

Peter Jennings was the man. It's funny when you're so used to seeing these anchors' faces and hearing their voices. As everything else in life constantly changes, it's always reassuring to hear that anchor's voice, as it never seemed to change. But, like Tommy said, with all 3 major anchors gone now, an era has truly ended. I'm sure this is what the previous generation thought when Cronkite, Huntley, and Brinkley stepped down. Now our kids will think Brian Williams and his new counterparts are "the voice", or with cable news and the net being "normal" to them, they might find their "voice" in an entirely different arena.

Sometimes finding your "voice" in a new arena is a good thing.
