The Colt and Westerns

Hallmark Channel lastnight
had a very good movie on
the Civil War and a baby
Colt. The movie was more
about family and love, the
ending was a real shocker.

I'am a big Western fan, the
Into the West series has to
be one of the best on TV today.
Hallmark will be airing The Long
Riders this Tuesday, I've never
seen this movie... it looks really
good.

I love John Wayne's Rio Bravo,
this is his best western in my
view... plus, it has the great
Dean Martin in it.

I like several Italian Westerns,
Django is a great Frank Nero
movie. Italian Westerns are not
everyone's cup of tea, the Good
the Bad and the Ugly has to be
the best well known one. The
Django types are second rate by
most, but I think those are the
better ones.

One show I would like to see on
DVD is the Young Riders, I thought
that was a good western.

I just got a western called Ace
High with Eli Wallach who was
in the G the B and the U. Looks
like a very good Italian Western.
