I just saw this tonite. Freaky.
But the original was much better IMO. The fact that it is based on a true story is damn scary enough...especially the part about the indians...
Did anyone else see this?

I haven't seen the new one yet, but I agree that the original is awesome. Question, is Jody, the red-eyed pig in the new one? I thought she stole the show. Her 2 appearances scared my fiancee more than anything else in the movie. I just thought the concept was cool...a demon resembling a creepy pig.

It was a good, solid horror movie. There were some cheesey parts. But there was suspense everywhere you turned, unlike "Boogeyman," which was just lame.
The scene with the little girl on top of the roof was excellent. The mother getting her hair caught in the boat's propeller, however, was lame. Overall, though, a great movie.

I thought it was pretty good. The first did seem to be a bit more spooky but overall this was one of the better horror movies I've seen in a while.
