Just got GAH on dvd. Sure, it's a little goofy, and the Greatest Americn Heroine pilot they show is about as campy as you can get. However, always loved the show, and if you were ever a fan, this is a must have. It has nice interviews with most of the cast, and about 8 episodes.

I remember virtually everything about GAH, from the students to the infamous "BB GUN" IRS episode. But, for the life of me, I don't remember the Greatest American Heroine. Maybe it was just that bad.

The Greatest American Heroine is the last episode of the series, but was never showed on tv. I've heard about it for years, and now it's on the dvd. Ralph becomes widely known with the suit, so the 'green men' feel that he needs to pass it on to someone else. There is a nice scene where Ralph, Pam, and Bill say goodbye to each other, but the new girl in the suit is totally 80's (not necessarily a bad thing) and very, very campy. However, I'm glad they included it.

You're right, neil. It was a pilot spinoff, but it never got off the ground. Maybe we'll see a big screen remake someday. Stranger things have happened.
