The release is in May. What is everyone hearing about the final prequel? I take it James Earl Jones is making a return. Anyone else (actors/actresses or characters) making a return in this movie from Episodes IV, V and VI?

I found a website with stills of the movie. I succumbed to the Dark Side and looked.
All I can say is it looks much better than I and II. If they screw up a movie with this much cool action, I will be flabbergastered.

I agree, Episode I was awful. Episode II was passable. But Episode III better be more in line with IV, V, and VI for Lucas to squirm out of this dismal series.

Regarding the question on the original post for this thread, Peter Mayhew is reprising his role as Chewbaca in Episode III. Also, the character Uncle Owen from Episode IV will be seen again in Episode III.

Who saw the new trailer? It looks like this will be a killer movie! I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high, but man, does that look awesome!

Only a couple of weeks away from 'Revenge of the Sith'...really looking forward to it now that I've seen 'Star Wars: Clone Wars' the animated series volume 1. I caught an episode on TV a few days ago (hadn't seen any of them) and was impressed...and once I learned that it ties the action between episode II and III, I went out and bought it and was not dissapointed.
The animation is really cool, the action is very good, and there are some real nice nods to the films, as well as some new Jedi and some humour (not too much...and no Jar Jar!)
Well worth the price of a DVD, and for Star Wars fans, a must see.

The movie took the cover story of the current issue of TIME Magazine. The editor clearly stated that this movie stands a chance to supplant THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK as the best in the series. That got me really excited.

I read the ep 3 book and it's really good, though it does skip a few scenes (like the battle on Chewie's world). Get ready for a very Very dark movie!

A PG-13 Star Wars is a good sign

I saw EP 3 last night. Its one bad azz movie. The love story dialog was kinda corny, but no one is really there to see it anyway. It was 2 and something hours long, but it could have really been longer. There were a lot of things that were skipped over (I suppose in good taste, because of some of the things Ankin did once he became vader...) that could have made this movie 3 hrs or longer. And I tell ya, I wouldn't have minded a bit. Action packed is an understatement. Play the new Star wars PS2 game, it really fills in these gaps. Had everything that was in the game been in the movie, I honestly believe it would have been an "R" rating, especially once Vader enters the Jedi Temple... Brutal stuff there. All in all, this is one of the best star wars movies.
It's like watching Titanic. You know how it's going to end. But unlike Titanic, it's a heck of a ride getting there.

I just got back from SW III, and it was the best of the first two prequels. I just watched Star Wars IV : New Hope, and Revenge of the Sith makes all six movies the greatest franchise in movie history.
From start to finish this movie was fantastic, I was pleased with the Vader Suit scene's. The movie could've been longer, but the 2 1/2 Hours glued me to my seat none the less.
