I'm excited about Friday nights
on the Sci-Fi Channel...

Stargate : Atlantis returns to
finish season one off this coming
friday. This is a fresh new take
on the Stargate series.

But the show that ends the friday
night line-up is the best of the
bunch...

Battlestar Galactica kicked off
Season One on Friday and it is
AWESOME! This version is better
then the original in so many ways.
You should check the show out if
not already.

I have not been a fan of the Sci-Fi channel for quite a while. I like a good sci-fi movie now and then, but every once in a while a good sci-fi parody should be thrown in (Red Dwarf, for example!).

But, and this is a big BUT...the new BattleStar Galactica is awesome! I caught a bit of it on Friday night and then they re-ran the shows today. I am hooked and will be setting the VCR (I know I need to get a digital recorder) on Fridays to make sure I keep up with this show. It is 10,000 times better than the original. That being said, the original was dramatic, but no where near as dramatic as this show has been produced to be.

If you are like drama and sci-fi, this is definitely a show to watch.

I wanted to see the mini-series when it was on last summer, but I didn't get the chance (becasue of moving to Colorado) and now I wonder what took so long to get it on!

Friday is a awesome night for us scifi fans with it's FOUR hour block, although I do have to turn the channel on the last hour
