Return of the King Extended Edition DVD

Has anyone bought and seen the extended version of the Return of the King?

I will be picking it up here eventually....what are everyone's thoughts?

I have heard mixed reactions to it, actually....

GREATEST MOVIE EVER!!!

There... I said it!

The LOTR: Return Extended Ed EASILY took over as my favorite movie. I've already watched it twice. It only came out yesterday and is over 4hrs long.

Heck, it took over Empire Strikes Back as my favorite movie and the LOTR as a whole surpassed original Star Wars as my favorite trilogy.

I won't get into it too deeply, but it really helps flesh out the various characters...not just add battle-scenes and cool effects.

Characters who get the biggest boost from the Extended Edition?.. Aragon, Farimir, and the Witch King, IMHO.

Also, Mouth of Sauron looks (and SOUNDS!!!) like he jumped out of HellRaiser!!!

Everything that was added in provided further insight into the movie. It was a truly great movie experience. I was a little worried that they would mess something up, but that was not the case. Running time is 250 minutes. The Mouth of Sauron was one of the creepiest looking things that I have seen in a movie in a LONG time. One of the best movies that I've seen.
