Battlestar Galactica has been greenlighted to be a series on the Sci-Fi Channel and this will be a great show to watch. The mini- series kicked ass and the new show will follow what took place in that very mini-series. Starbuck as a woman really is a barnburner, and she kicks ass like the original Starbuck.
Wonderfalls is a strange but funny new show on FOX, it's better then Joan of Arcadia. Funny looking trinkets and objects talk to Jayne Taylor. The first episode had a great deformed Lion and a statue of a thinking monkey. The show is placed in my neck of the woods, Niagara Falls.
Check these shows out, BSG will air some time maybe this fall or late summer. Wonderfalls is on Friday nights at 9pm.

Although I never heard of Wonderfalls, Galactica was one of my fave TV series back in the late 70's. Since Star Wars-mania was just beginning, and Star Trek hadn't hit the big screen yet, the only dose of quality sci-fi was Galactica, Buck Rogers, and Battle of the Planets. Who could forget Keyop, or Keye Luke as ZOLTAR? Outside of Galactica, BOTP, & Buck Rogers, I wasn't much into any other sci fi shows (Space 1999? Sorry no, too boring for me. Doctor Who? Too low-budget. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? A fave but it was more of a comedy).
Galactica was always a fun show, not that badly written. Dirk Benedict's Starbuck was always funny. And there was always the deliciously evil Boltar! Do NOT confuse this series with the wretched Galactica 1980!
Anyway, it's great to see the remake did well enough for a new series to be green-lighted! I look forward to more of the intensity the new Galactica had to offer!

I caught Wonderfalls last week and I just don't see the appeal. There's not a single member of the cast that is in any way likable. At least the Seinfeld cast had these quirks that made them likable even though they generally were pretty horrible people.
The main character is an intelligent person, but all she does is whine and mope so you could care less about her.
