I got one for my birthday...So far, I'm noticing it has the best selection of RPGs on the market right now, with a flurry of Final Fantasy's (Tactics of course being most prominant)...
Right now I'm playing Dungeons and Dragons Tactics, which is a very nice 3.5 game...I also have Lord of the Rings Tactics, but I've not tried it yet...
Finally, Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness....An improved version of a direct PS2 (!!) port...this game is what made me want one to begin with...
Anyone else have a PSP and what games are you playing/looking forward to..?

I don't have a PSP now but there was an awesome X-Men game that was partial RPG but was completely awesome. Unfortunately I got to a tough part and had a tard out on the PSP, hence, I have no more PSP. I still miss the game though, it was awesome.

Was Juggernaut playable?), the game that spawned Marvel Ultimate Alliance...And yes, it was awesome...

Juggernaut was one of them. It was pretty friggin cool.

Monster Hunter Freedom 2 is the best RPG out on the market now for any system period. There's an action component to it, in that you actually go out and fight these big critters to protect your little mountain village. Then you carve their bodies up for useful spare parts that you carry back to the village to make new armor and weapons out of their corpses. With your new deathswag you then go out and kill more powerful monsters for better loots. Lather, rinse, repeat. It's fricking incredible. It's only real flaw is that unlike its console counterparts, there's no infrastructure multiplayer. You can play with someone else in the same room who has a PSP and MHF2, but that's it.
Since there's no online, I did eventually get bored with it, so I sold it off and I'm playing Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus right now. It's a Metal Gear game, so it's stealh action, but it focurses on online play. You collect soldiers in the single player mode, take them on missions to make them stronger, then go into online matches where you can capture other people's soldiers. It's very much like Pokemon with guns. If that appeals to you, I recommend finding the original Portable Ops in a bargain bin somewhere, because it's actually got a story mode and is a real good game, then grab Portable Ops Plus when you're done with it. The characters and equipment you get in the first one carry over to the second game, so it'd be worth your time.

I'll probably check out Monster Hunter Freedom 2...Hadn't given it much thought, thanks BDS... Not a big Metal Gear fan, I know that's rare, just not my thing...I'm looking forward to Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core...Apparently it's graphics rival the PS2, and it's cinematics are on par with Advent Children... Can't wait..
