I'm looking to finally upgrade to an xbox 360, but i'm trying to find a great deal.
I can get a couple dirt cheap, but they have the "red rings of death".
Is this a fixable problem?....and, if so, how much do they usually cost to repair or refurbish?

Nothing too repair you just have to call xbox corp. and tell them and they will send you a box to ship it in for free all they need is your info and the serial number. This happened to me the only thing is I dont know if they will give you flak if it was registered before online. Other than that its pretty simple because all 360's are covered for 3 years because of the 3 ring of death crash. Hope this helps.
