I picked up SOTN for the PS3 a few days ago, and I'm very pleased. The graphics have held up well over the years, thanks to being sprites and not 3D, and the gameplay is still some of the best ever for a platformer. At $10, I'm happy - it was a good buy.
Plus, I'm happy it actually came out for the PS3. Yeah, I could have probably found an emulator to run it or something like that, but that would have stunk. It wouldn't have been on my TV, and I wouldn't have been playing it on my PS3 controller - this is better.
They need to hurry up and get Final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid available for download over the network now. Having to put in disks when I want to play them is terribly bothersome, and I'd like to pay for them again. ;D

Both SotN and Super Metroid are great games.
In fact if you want the PS1 SotN it is like $30 new. At least.

On a somewhat-related topic, Wii owners can now download Super Metroid over the Virtual Console for $8. SotN owes just about everything to this SNES title. Other than Alucard being much cooler than Samus, well yeah.  |

Castlevania:SOTN is one of the greatest games of all time. The dialog in the game on the other hand, was cheesy enough to clog an artery.
Extremely over acted: "You steal men's souls!"
everything else was awesome.

Im not saying that Castlevania is the greatest game of all time(Final Fantasy Tactics, Metal Gear Solid, No Mercy) but I wont argue.
