MLB Power Pros To Get US Release

Anyone else know of this game series? It's going to be released in the US soon under the name MLB Power Pro. I've dabbled with a few of the SNES games and I adore the cute characters. I'll have to get the PS2 version because mine will be modded while my Wii is just PAL. So unless the Wii gets Freeloader, I'll have to get the PS2 version of MLB Power Pro. Could be fun trying to recognise the tiny amount of baseball players I know.

Got it pre-ordered. Some bits and pieces have been changed, the look has been modified to show more of the player's physical features. I would have preferred the normal look (which is my avatar). However, some of the players have their movements incorporated in the game. So pitchers who throw a certain unique way will do so in the game aswell, which is neat. According to a few reviews the stats are said to be messed up for many players and the Japanese guys have been highly rated. Still it should be very fun.

Now all I have to do is wait for my Hanshin Tigers jersey to arrive in the mail.

When is it being released? How much? How fun is it?

It looks and sounds great. I would love to get it if it is a good game and is the right price. I am a bit of a baseball fan but not a faithful follower so this sounds like a really fun time.

MLB Power Pros is out this Thursday or Friday for the PS2 and Wii. The PS2 version will be $30 and the Wii $40. The graphics are very cute but it is said to be very very deep when it comes to stats and gameplay. So it could be a fun title.
