I ordered from Amazon. I have no idea what they are doing. Yesterday they sent me an email saying it was delayed and I wouldn't get it till after Thanksgiving. Today it arrives. I don't know if they were just covering their bases or what.

Which Firepro board were you on, Gamemaster? The people on Gamespot have been really nice with everybody. A number of those with the Japanese version were pretty patient and polite in answering questions, even when answering the same question over and over.
I ordered from buy.com as a back-up plan but canceled it. I really don't like buy.com at all.. Their site gave me way too many problems the past couple of days.

I haven't been on fireproclub. I mostly went to gamespot, and they've been pretty nice.
I just got it last night. I forgot (from the GAB version) how complex the edit mode is. I'm trying to create characters from the Rocky movies, and I'm currently stuck on trying to make Apollo Creed look realistically black. I did run a few matches and here are the results:
Aleksandr Karelin beat Jeff Jarrett by KO to the Karelin Lift.
Bret Hart and Sting battled to a time limit draw.
Quinton Jackson beat Ken Shamrock by KO to the Powerbomb.
Bruiser Brody KO'd (critical) Giant Baba.
The graphics are 2d and look cartoonish. I personally don't mind; just letting others know. Still, the wrestling itself looks really good. I'll review more after I play a little more.

Firepro has to me the best control scheme in any wrestling game. Timing and wearing your opponent down very important. I can't wait to pick up a copy of this

My copy should be here tomorrow waiting for me at my job!!! The only downfall is tomorrow is Monday and Jericho should be on Raw. Oh well maybe ill be up a little late.

I've ben active over at Fire Pro Club for about 10 years. Everyone is very helpful once you get established over there, but they are sort of elitests and biased for import games and companies. They like to roast noobs until said noob shows hes serious about the game. Part of this is warranted. We get a lot of people who come on and go, "Yoz all. Dis game haz stupidz 2D graphix and you cant landz a grapple. And dare is no Cena or Batista. How can you like this shiz?" Read that enough and you start to get annoyed and uppity  Especially when it's in all caps. |

I finished some Caws of Rocky characters and ran a few matches. Here are the results:
-Apollo Creed beat Rocky Balboa by TKO in 3rd rd.
-Rocky Ko'ed Apollo in rd 1 after Critical hook (Rocky's finisher)
-Apollo beat Clubber Lang by KO in 4th rd. Lang was so tired, he kept getting dropped by single punches. The match ended when Lang tried to fight back, but when he stopped to taunt the crowd, Creed dropped him with a single cross.
-Ivan Drago annihilated Rocky in 2nd rd. I designed Drago so he would weaken when he bled, but unfortunately, Rocky was the only one bleeding.
-Tommy Gunny Ko'ed Mason Dixon in the 2nd rd.
I'm going to go back a tweak a few things since these matches are ended way too early. For stats, I gave most people 8 for punch and/or rough on offense and defense (Drago has 10) and good recovery. I also want to create Micky and Spider Rico.
Then I'll be creating LOW wrestlers (Severn and Kowalski are first on my list).

I got my hands on the game Friday afternoon and have been playing it relentlessly since.
The edit mode is ridiculously deep, especially the CPU logic. I spent most of the weekend trying to get a firm grasp on it. I don't know if I have it down pat or not, but my Taz and RVD edits seem to act reasonably close to their real life counterparts.
Coolest moment so far was a simmed match between Taz and Sabu. They went just under 20 minutes. Taz KO'd Sabu with a wristlock exploder.
Outstanding.
I love this game.

That is one thing I always enjoyed about Fire Pro was the Editing system. Great way to get people where they should be. I love CPU logic. Makes matches so much better when the edits do what they would in real life.

I've started on editing Renzo and Ryan Gracie, Tito Ortiz, Chuck Liddel, Shogun and Ninja Rua, Ryo Chonnan, Kevin Sullivan, and Viacheslav Datsik. This game's MMA artists are all over the different orgs. Yokoi seems to be the one everyone forgets about.

I created the Renegade Boxing League for all my Rocky characters. After running a league, I had my top 2 guys face off for the RBL Title.
Mason Dixon (undefeated in the league) KO'ed Ivan Drago to become the first RBL champion.

I made a WVC( World Vale Tudo) 3 version of Mark Kerr. He has destroyed everyone but Cro Cop so far in S-1 matches( because of his clinch knees).
