So how many here are going to be picking up ME in the fall?
Seems like we have the RPG crowd here and for me this is the killer app for 360. Still haven't picked one up due to hardware reliability and honestly no games. The only thing I'd play on it right now is Catan and Carcassone for Live. But come ME release I'll be all over it.

No games?? Dude. Gears of War, Oblivion, Dead Rising... lots more too.

Mass Effect looks sweet. I won't be playing it, because I've already chosen sides in the Next-Gen Civil War (I'm with PS3), but it looks like something that I'd enjoy.
There's an interesting dynamic going on with RPG games on the consoles this round. The 360 seems to be going after the Western-style RPGs: they've got the more full-featured Oblivion at the moment, and they're getting Mass Effect, whereas the PS3 is going more towards the traditional Eastern RPGs with the 92 different Final Fantasy XIII games that'll be coming out. It'll be fun to see how it plays out.

Yeah Xbox is to shooter/action heavy for me. I like laid back rpg adventure games. Played Gears at a friends house. Obviously aimed at hardcore shooter (Halo) fans which I am not a part of that demo Oblivion i played on PC. Dead Rising looks cool, but not a killer app for me. Crackdown looks fun, but that's about it. Just as a basis of my level I make games for Disney so I'm more a part of the Nintendo/Wii crowd.
