You know, I can agree with you about Janus, but I'm not sure why it is that he also seems beatable to me. Looking at his stats, they're certainly above average. Maybe it's because his L2D only has one comeback move at level 2?
Anyways, I use the Colossus SE card too, now that I'm past 2099. In general, I won't use a SE card until I reach the year that it came out in.
I'm thinking of having Colossus feud with GWF's other resident robot guy... Destruction 3000. I haven't seen anyone else use him as a regular wrestler, and I'm not sure why. I think he would make a great heel, especially if he were to follow Vengeance around on the Gladiators Vanguard team. All it would take is for Mace to piss him off one too many times. And since I'm in 2100, the years of the Gladiator Civil Wars, the question would remain... would W.A.R. set aside their differences with the Gladiators Vanguard team, or would they take on both Gladiator teams at once?

I think the reason no one uses Destruction, is because his card makes Chaos look like Pollux. Anyway, I totally agree with you about Bendis. Going from Carter, to Snelly...to whatshisnamethatdid2098, to Bendis was like a slow descent after Snelly. The only two cards in 2099 that are any good drawing wise are Enigma and Thunder. Rest are pretty friggin bad. It looks like he makes improvement in later sets (I own up to 2104), but there are mis-steps like Pegasus's regular card. Good lord. Thank god he has that bitchin Luger-like SE card. Anyway, onto my fed...I was planning on doing a post in the fed forum, but I've recent completely messed up something in my shoulder, so I really don't feel like doing a huge post. Justice retained the IP title by beating Vyper fairly easily. The Gamemasters retained the GWF tag titles when they squashed the Complex. Chaos retained the GWF title when he fought Dreadnaught again in a power battle. Also on the card, Thunder made his return to the GWF and litterally beat the living hellsbells out of Holocaust for the win. After the match, Brute & Massacre came out to give Thunder some praise for his improvement...only to have Thunder insult them, and say he wasn't going to be in their shadows. Strangely, no Vengeance... The King of the Galactic Deathmatch took place, and it really wasn't as good as last years. Iron Mane beat Battering Ram and Splatter to make it to the finals against Wolf, who had beaten Mayhem and Kati to make it.(Cannibal was beaten first round by Splatter ). In a Circinus Cell match, Wolf beat Iron Mane, and then the GWF sent Iron Mane into retirement with a in-ring presentation & ceremony.

was there a stipulation that Iron Mane would retire if he lost the King of the Galactic Deathmatch, or was he just planning to retire anyway? I assume this is where Battering Ram will become just Ram.

What happened, was in late 2097, Ram was injured for five months. Badger went singles for awhile, but after failing to win the IP title, he decided to retire.
When Ram came back, he turned on his Ani-Men brethan, and joined the Brotherhood. Wolf...didn't really care, but Iron Mane swore revenge, and spent most of 2098 beating Ram in every single match they had.
Iron Mane announced that with no Ani-Men faction, he was going to retire, and decided that he wanted more more shot at Ram(Hence them fighting in the first round), and wanted to put his mark on the history of the GWF as a singles wrestler, having never won a singles title (Although he held the tag titles with..Ram...for around 14 months). Sadly, Wolf overwhelmed him in the final match, and stole Iron Mane's last grasp at singles glory.
Tis sad.

I just finally ran November 2098, and a moment that has been coming for so long finally came.
The event itself was fairly uneventful, until the last few matches. Colossus continued his good form by beating former two time GWF champion Bishop Hell. Cannibal murderdeathkilled Splatter in record time in a Torture Chamber match, knocking Splatter out five months.
Matador of M83 won #1 contendership to the IP title when he single handidly beat Pegasus, Defender of the Realm & U.S. Patriot in a four way elimination match. Each man fell to the Bullwhip.
Justice retained the IP title, beating Grunge in a one-sided match, setting up Justice v.s. Matador for the IP title at the last event of the year.
W.A.R. suffered their worst loss in history to the Gladiators, in an Ultimate Escape Match. Newest Gladiator, Thunder, led the charge, and is rapidly being hailed as a great wrestler, as he manhandled each member of W.A.R. he was in the ring against. In the end, the Gladiators escaped the cage with only Raven having escaped for the W.A.R. side.
The Mercenaries regained the tag titles in athriller against The Gamemasters, becoming only the third team in GWF history to regain the tag titles for the third time behind the Gladiators and New Order. The match was highly competitive, but once again, Operation Ambush proved to be far too strong for Star Warrior to kick out of.
Now to get what I'm so excited about:
After nearly twelve years since 2087, Wolf has been the only main event player to not ever hold the GWF title. He's nearly won it many times, but it's always been denied of him. Up against Chaos for the title off his KOTGDM tournament victory, the odds were against him...
But...I am happy to FINALLY, after all this time to finally say it...
WOLF IS THE NEW GWF CHAMPION!
Wolf, has claimed the GWF title for the FIRST time in his entire career! Fans in attendance began to celebrate in their seats, with some racing as close as they could to the ring to celebrate. As a heel, or as a face, Wolf has always been beloved, and now...He has claimed the top prize.

Cannibal is the man when it comes to steel cage/torture chamber matches. When I use the Heavy Metal belt, I try to build the division around guys like Cannibal and Splatter who don't really have a shot at some of the other belts, rather than guys like Wolf and Mayhem.
Are you jumping the gun and using Thunder's 2099 card two months early?
The record for title reigns in the tag division is only three? And Brute & Massacre have been in your fed for how long? I find that somewhat astonishing. The Gladiators have held the belts probably about twenty times in my fed, and that's even after fast forwarding 2096-2098. I don't know, maybe they're longer title reigns?
Congrats to Wolf. Only took him twelve years to get to this point, but he deserves proper respect for dethroning Chaos.

I might have mispoke. Mercenaries are only the third team to ever hold the tag titles three times. Glads still lead with like...five.
And yeah, I brought in Thunder a few months early. He left at the beginning of 2097, so I figured that was enough time. He's shown hostility towards the other Gladiators, and I'm having things completely boil over.
I'm just about ready to start work on my 2098 awards...I ran one event in 2098 December, just focusing on new guys, and title matches. Monad killed Killer Queen dead. Death Knight II(Go Pete!) whooped the Sheik, and Gen X pulled a shocker over New Order with the Sound of Music.
Justice amazingly retained the IP title against Matador, but the Mercenaries AGAIN lost the tag titles without a defense, this time in an ultra shocker to The Enforcers, which if you don'tremember, are Stalker & Wildcat. The main event saw Wolf make a successful defense of his title in a bloodbath against Cannibal.

Well it finally happened today. In my last card for October 2094, the Gladiators lost the Galactic Tag Team Championship that they held since October 0f 2090- by far the longest title reign in the 20 year (2074-2094) history of my fed. New Order beat them today after the Guardsman surprisingly interferred on their behalf. This was the match that I had the Guardsman turn on the Gladiators in preparation for his change into Fury, but I didn't know that his outside interference would lead to Dreggs getting a successful pinfall attempt on Brute (according to the officiall wrestler interference chart).
Brute and Massacre are now shocked and furious at hte Guardsman who had accompanied them to ringside at the beginning of the match. Mayhem also came out after the match to scream at the Guardsman and his new allies in W.A.R. I'm now going to have this angle evetually lead up to the first match between Fury and Mayhem at Star Wars 8- my last and biggest card of each COTG game year.

Good stuff man...New Order are awesome.
I just ran Feb 2099. The final event saw every GWF title change hands. Justice's IP title reign was ended shockingly by Pegasus of all people. The future main eventer dominated the match, and forced Justice to submit to Total Submission to claim his first GWF title.
For the first time ever, Gladiators clashed as Spike & Vengeance fought in the first offical battle of the Civil War in a Cosmic Cage match. Both men beat the living bejesus out of each other, but eventually the titanic Spike became enraged, and hit a Megadestroyer > Atomic Spike > Megadestroyer combination to put Vengeance down.
Deadly Challenge continues to steamroll the undercard tag ranks, adding The Keepers of the Stone to their list. Thunder beating Scourge in just five rolls with the Thunderclap. As a competitior, Thunder has not dropped a fall since his return, nor has he even looked hurt. Killing Machine lets Thunder do most of the work, and picks up the peices if need arises.
On the other hand, for the first time in almost five years, Massacre & Brute regained the GWF tag titles over the Enforcers. The surprise tag champions fought hard, but the sheer power of the former champions was too much for them to overcome, and a Brute Force from Brute put Wildcat out to pasture. Now comes a situation where The Gladiators will have to defend against either New Order, Gamemasters, Mercenaries...or Thunder & Killing Machine at Superclash!
In the main event, Wolf defended his GWF title for the second time against former champion Janus. Wolf's lucky streak came crashing down, as Janus completely dominated the match before locking on the Gordian Knot, and forcing Wolf to submit, reclaiming the GWF title after two and a few months since his first reign ended! Janus will defend the GWF title against former two time GWF champion, and wrestler of the year in 2098, Bishop Hell at Superclash!

Is there any reason why the Keepers of the Stone are still active? I'm pretty sure they were banned from the official storylines by 2099, not that I'm complaining - just wondering if there's an explanation.
The Space Croppers actually had one fluke tag title reign in my fed... and then they got destroyed by Brute and Massacre. Glad to see the Enforcers continuing that trend in your fed.
I have to say that Janus holding the title is a bit of a surprise. Although it's kind of nice to see guys like Wolf, Janus, and Bishop Hell at the top, as they typically seem to be more like IP guys.

In my fed, the Champions got owned in Sudden Death, and banished the Greek Gods for their loss. In 2097 when Complex came in, I brought back The Keepers and they joined the Champions in order to get revenge on Chaos.
In 2098, their one year contract with the Champs ran out, as the Gamemasters reformed, taging the tag spot. Since then, they've been an independent team in my fed.

Hawk, I like the storyline you created involving Keepers of the Stone. In my fed today (I finished April of 2095 during the first half of the Patriots-Broncos game), the Keepers lost their Interplanetary Tag Team belts to Animal Pack. The Keepers impressively had held the IP tag belts from October 2093 until April of 2095 before finally losing today. Now, Incredible Badger and Battering Ram are beginning their record fifth reign as IP Tag Team Championships - yet they have never held the Galactic Tga Team Championship.
In some of the other news regarding my fed, Thantos is my current Galactic Champion- his fifth such reign which is the most among all wrestlers on my roster who are still active. Also, Chaos is out after being injured by Alpha Force in a bloody and classic torture chamber match.

I ran March 2099 a few days ago, with my biggest event of the year, Superclash.
Colossus won his first title in the GWF, beating Pegasus for the IP title in a shockingly contested matchup. The Gladiators broke the streak, managing to actually *gasp* KEEP the tag titles against New Order, and Spike continues his streak against the enemy Gladiators, having beaten both Vengeance and Mayhem now in highly bloody battles.
Monad is still undefeated, and should be in line for a title shot at at time now. Fun character.

The Space Croppers have done that twice in my fed, both times against Brute and Massacre. Each time they defeated the Gladiators in thier first defense of the tag belts and each time the Glads would win the rematch. The Space Croppers won two tag titles that way, though with the Gladiators third reign nobody seems to be able to defeat them.

Tonight on my second and last televised card for July 2095, I had two noteworthy title matches in which the belts in both matches switched hands. Death's Head won his first title by defeating Wolf in a cosmic cage match for the Heavy Metal Championship. In addition, King Lear (who previously had only two brief IP Tag Title reigns along wiht Killer Queen back when he was Exo-KIng in the early 2090s) defeated Thantos to win the Galactic Champioship!

I continued my march through the years by finishing July 2099.
In a shocking upset, Heracules defeated Janus to claim the GWF Heavyweight championship. Heracules fought an evenly contested war against Janus, but OLYMPIA proved to be the deciding factor, as Janus couldn't survive multiple hits with the bullrushing tackle. However, Heracule's first defense will be a very hard one, as he faces team-mate, Alpha Force. Alpha Force once again won the Galactic Lottery to earn himself the title shot. When Star Warrior won the GWF title in 2097, Alpha Force stepped aside...but he refuses to do it for Heracules! Could the Champions implode?
Another champion, Colossus, continues to hold onto the Inter-Planetary championship. Colossus defeated Defender of the Realm in acompletely onesided matchup.
The Gladiators still have the GWF Tag championships, making their first run since 2094 mean something by mauling every team in their path. Superiority Complex put up a strong fight, but it wasn't meant to be, and the Decapitator ended Skinhead's night.
