A lot of us grew up with the old NES system and without a doubt, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out was a must-have for that system. My favorite game at that time. Now, I have a Wii and I was hoping that it would be available for the Wii VC but no such luck. BUT! KJ just found it hidden on Animal Crossing and I played it for the first time in nearly 20 years. It's really slow by today's standards, but still like I remember it.
Here's to an old friend.
Sorry, but I spent countless hours with this game and it was great to play it again.

Never could friggin beat Mike Tyson and his stupid one hit KOs! You had to watch his eyes, he winked before he punched. The only way I ever beat him though was by decision. To this day Punchout, Contra, and Super Tecmo Bowl can still be found in our living room.

To this day Punchout, Contra, and Super Tecmo Bowl can still be found in our living room. He'd Blink, he'd Wink, he'd shuffle his feet. I knew what each meant; but, it didn't matter. Frighteningly, this might be the most realistic simulation of what it was like to fight Tyson in his prime.

Yeah, I liked Super Better too. The original was great but Super was a great improvement. And some of the new characters were just nuts.

I got to where I could beat Tyson everytime in the 2nd Round by knocking him down three times. I wouldn't even get hit once during the entire fight.
I spent ALOT of time with this game.

I beat him often, but if he hit u in the first minute and a half, you were toast.
