just dug this up today okay well found it under the stack of magazines in the bathroom.this was one of the few things i bought in my life that i was happy to get for G.P. this pen and paper wrestling rpg allows you to build and wrestle with any wrestler from any time.but the big down fall to this game is how many people do you know that is willing to play an wrestling rpg. its ddeveloped my Comic Image games it plays like an D20 game sort of. if you like wrestling rpg's then this is the game for you.if you dont like pen and paper games stay away from it.imagine Undertaker vs. StarWarrior!oh wait you can still have that match just go to LOWcreations and get your Taker and buy Toms CotG sets and get Starwarrior it would be an LOT easier to have that match. thats why this game stayed in the bathroom and thats the reason i put it back there.

Hmmm, if it was cheap enough, I might pick it up. The problem with wrestling RPGs is making it so that everyone can be involved frequently.

Great game. Was a bit overpriced. Took a long time to come out. Has yet to be supported with another book. Website hasn't been updated in over a year. But there is a decent fan community that makes wrestler stats for it, if you look. comicimages.com/kyr/index.htm by the way

Very good game. But yes, quite expensive and didn't get much official support.
I ran a six-month weekly campaign with six other players, but then I know a lot of roleplayers who are into wrestling.

Hmmm, if it was cheap enough, I might pick it up. The problem with wrestling RPGs is making it so that everyone can be involved frequently. In KYR the players are allowed..and indeed encouraged...to assume the roles of the commentators and even the crowd during the match. The rules even allow you to award experience for the kind of kibbitzing that is normally frowned on in other RPGs. I have been running a very active fed since the game came out. Our wrestlers have become so "real" to me that I've even started making LOW "bootlegs" for them The game was too expensive, a fact of never-ending annoyance to Tony Lee and the other designers. We're trying to talk them into an updated edition at a lower price point. Failing that...well, there's always the Open Game License... Allen
