Giving the vast expansion of technology, I am starting once again to take that trek to Kefka's Tower in the World of Ruin, but this time on my hacked out PSP!!! Its great taking Final Fantasy in the car, work, and even the bathroom. I started the game up and had to stop to recharge the battery. I am currently at the 3 way split in the story. Have finished Edgar, Terra and Banon's journey. Now working on Locke's

Sounds quite cool. I haven't played FF6 in a while.

Man, I remember playing this in college. I would play out the story, and when I was in class, my roommates and friends would level up my guys. My squad was killer at the end of the game and I clobbered Kefka, it wasn't even close.

On another board I visit, this game has the nickname "Finest Fantasy".
I cannot argue that point, although it was also the last FF I played. (If Crono Trigger counted as an FF it would be the best, but hey.)

Yeah, hard to top Chrono Trigger (Damn you FF7!!) By the end of all these games my guys were all brutal...Three such examples: FF7, beat Emerald and Ruby Weapon without being in the room... Chrono Trigger: Beat Lavos at the start of the game(+) with the Wood Sword... FFX: Beat the last boss before the last boss' first attack... Good times...

Is FF3 (6) the one where you had to locate the flying ship near Edgar's island, the ocean would open up like a hanger and you'd fly in and out using the ship as a mobile headquarters?

You find an airship undersea in the second part of the game, but once it flies out you can't fly it back in.

Yeah, that's mostly the part that's confusing me. "Edgar's Island" isn't helping, either.

Was thinking of Final Fantasy V and Cid instead of Edgar. Did a search and found a map of the game I meant: www.finalfantasytr.com/ff5/haritalar/ff5-harita-map-1.jpgThe airship was found in the harbor of the crescent island on the bottom right corner. Reason I asked is because I remember playing the hell out of that game a few years back on an emulator.
