Poker?

Poker = ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

I've tried playing a few times, but get bored really fast.

I do enjoy video poker at the casino though, probably because I tend to win most of the time. Just lucky I guess.

Play lots of poker out here as well. I host a bi-weekly friday night game with about 12-14 others and we play hold 'em tournament style where depending on how many show up we pay out the top 25% finishers.

Of course being the stat/tournament junkie that i am, i keep stats on all competitors based on positions finished, appearanced, and who you knocked out. I then hold the tournies in "seasons". Meaning that every 12 games is a season and the top 6 money earners for the that season are invited to a special higher stakes invitational that is winner take all. We're just about done with our 4th season only 2 more games to go and we don't look like we're slowing down going into season 5.

Thats an awsome idea Jared. I wish I knew that many people here in Jersey to do something like that.

I usually play a couple time a year with friends from college, when we get together for fantasy football drafts or New Years. I rarely win, but usually always come in 2nd out of 10.

Yeah its to bad there's not very many promoters out here in Phoenix, we're always looking for more players. It's only $10 every other week.

I met some people in my Guild in World of Warcraft and they have become regulars to the Poker game its just to bad theres not that many CotG out here in the Old West.

Oh yeah, heads up I am horrible. Have to learn how to adjust my game there.

$10 every other week is very doable. I like playing for fun more than high stakes. If I was out there then I would definately join ya. I might be going to Phoenix for a conference this year, if so I will let you know.

Looking at where the orders go, there is definately an East Coast bias with COTG. It seems that nearly every other order goes to Ohio for some reason.

I don't know if he plays poker or not, but Lord Rahl lives in the Phoenix area. I met and drank some beers with him earlier this month in the parking lot before the Seahawks-Cardinals game that we both went to.

I usually go to Phoenix at least once a year (I often take the $49 flights from Las Vegas offered by Southwest) and I might be going in Mrach actually to see the Nuggets with Iverson play the Suns- I am a huge Suns fan right now because they have both Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks from UNLV (where I went to school) on their roster.

Well if I get this new job I'm interviewing for next week, you'll be getting another BIG order to send to Ohio. I really need to get caught up!

OK, I have decided that the 1st annual Galacticon poker tournament will take place on Friday night, after the Holiday Inn gathering. So it is written so shall it be done. I'll bring my poker chips. Spread the word. Maybe we can get some of the Ueker players to come aboard.

That's funny cause i get up to Vegas usually once a year.

I am a poker player would love to play you guys :-) For those who play online where do you play? I play sometimes at ParadisePoker. Where do you guys play???
Do you any of you guys enter online tourneys? Just wondering how that is managed or done now after the new law, and where do you do so at? Meaning like lets say you won the thing how would you claim your winnings? I have yet to enter a tourney but wish to with the winner recieved a free buy in on a Poker Tour or Satelliete seat.

I play mostly on Full Tilt right now, occassionally at Poker Stars as well.

Hey I am all for a polker tourny at G-con. I play a few times a month and have won a few big games. I won't be there until Saturday but night at the matches ends at 11 or we could play that instead of euchre. I play at the www.score.ca you can play for free and qualify for actual money and other prizes. all for free. They have a friends list and the also have a sports ticker so you can keep up on the games while you play. I am superblue71 if anyone signs up.
