Hi guys - For those of you that play Out of the Park or any of the other baseball sims... Mogul '07 is out, which means they're offering the '06 version free for download... its really good. You can start with the real guys in any year (1901-2005), and as you progress, you do a draft with the real rookies for the following year... it even does the correct franschise moves, expansions, etc. They've also cleaned up alot of the good features (i.e there a bio page for each players that give you awards they've won) definately worth the download. I played 3 seasons last night starting with the 1901 tigers, and won two world series.. now I just need to figure out how to take for 1904 so I can get a good enough pick to draft ty cobb in 1905 l

I grabbed this today. Haven't had very good seasons with the Reds as I'm just loading up on prospects right now. Just drafted Ty Cobb in 1905. I should be really good in another years as I'll have a lot of young guys who I'm paying next to nothing.

What a comeback. My team goes 46-108 in 1904 and then in 1905 I go 93-61 and win the World Series.
Ty Cobb after a season in the minors is already an 80 overall. He'll probably become a starter by mid season next year.

I was off to a great start... won 5 championships in before 1910, but now I'm kinda stuck... I had to let go a lot of my stars (I had drafted Joe Tinker, Tris Speaker and Walter Johnson) due to money, but I did just draft Babe Ruth, so with him and Cobb in the outfield, with Ed Roush coming up, I should be good for next season (1917 I think) if my pitching is ok.
So far my only complaint is that no one can steal a base... otherwise the stats seem pretty on target.

I'm about to start 1934. Won 10 World Series and 12 pennants along the way.
I hear you about money. It's hard to keep your players when they start to become superstars. Thankfully I have 300 million in the bank so I can take a loss some seasons. The best part is I've only signed 2 free agents from 1901-1934. I've made my teams entirely through trades and drafting. When a player starts wanting too much money he has a replacement ready to hit the Majors.
