Anyone else planning to buy this game? I've been waiting for a long time to get an NFL strategy sim for consoles, and this looks amazing. What's more, I can transfer my teams, strategies, coaches and playbooks to Madden 2007. I'm just wondering if any other football nuts will be getting this.

OH MY GAWD!!!!!!!
I seriously didn't even know this existed until you made this thread. And now...my life will not be complete until it is mine. I mean..the only thing that keeps me interested is the franchis mode and ever since Front Office Football lost its NFLPA license its only been a shell of its former self...June 20th, 2006...
A FULL DRAFT....NEGOTIATING WITH AGENTS...TWO A DAYS!!!!

Ahhh, I knew there was a kindred spirit out there somewhere. This is set to be the ultimate in front office football. I can't wait to hit the floor and scour every draft pick, negotiate to keep (or toss) assistant coaches and staffers, and yes, the TWO-A-DAYS!!

Please let me know how it is. I have been considering playing it until Madden 07 comes out...

Consider no longer.
BUY IT!!
It's out next Tuesday, but if you're a fan of this type of fantasy football, it's a no-brainer. Also EB Games and Gamestop are giving an insane amount of trade-in credit when you trade this towards Madden. Buy this next week, play the crap out of it (and save your progress-it can be transferred to Madden), then trade it in on August 18th to get Madden for like $15 bucks.

I read that entire diary and I was blown away. To be honest, Madden get a little repetitive at some point. I honestly enjoy the management and adjusting my roster and swinging deals for draft picks more than anything. It's like this game was meant for me. It seriously sounded like there was hours of gameplay before you even got to the exhibition season. I'll be buying this the day its released, no doubt.

From what I've seen Madden is going to be pretty impressive this year, and I mean in more ways than just graphically.

I plan on picking it up as well, right now I've just been playing NCAA Baseball and Arena Football for my fixes before madden and college football. Should be a very cool and unique game.

It is very limited. You only get to do some meetings and office hours. Draft Day one only as the Texans. YOu play the game as the Steelers against the Seahawks. It plays smooth. The PC COntrols are difficult and I hope the PS2 ones are better. It is excitinga nd frustrating because you see plays but cant make them because of no control. The quarters are only 1 minute in demo but that is ok. You can go to practice session with Cowboys as well. Overall I think the series will rock.
