I used to play Raw Deal, but their just wasn't enough that you could do with the game to keep me playing for a long time. I currently play VS. System and Universal Fighting System.

Vampire The Eternal Struggle is a great game. You should check it out The only problem with playing Vampire(it used to be Jyhad right?) is that I don't know anyone else who plays it. I spend about $250 a month on VS. and UFS, and get to go to 3 tournaments a week. Plus 2 of my friends and my brother play them. Keep the Faith

you live in AZ right. Go to www.white-wolf.com and go to prince list then find the prince of Phoenix and areas and you will find great guys that way.

Problem is I don't drive(I spend too much time drinking) so I walk most places or I play games that my friends play, and go to tournaments with them. Keep the Faith

Talk about resurrecting an old thread!
I just found a hobby store that has a bunch of the Starter decks and boosters for Raw Deal. Has anyone played this game? I was thinking about picking up a couple of starters and boosters for me and my wife to play. But I wanted to find out from anyone who has actually played if the game is fun before I spend money.
I don't plan on going crazy. Just a couple of starters and boosters. Any opinions on the game???

Honestly, I found the most fun was in playing with the starters. Deck construction, and the ever more complicated rules in later expansions, brought the game down in my opinion.
There was a relaunch/revision relatively recently, though, so I don't know much about the current state of the game.
