Conflict Zone? (PS2)

Has anyone ever played this game? It's supposed to be a real-time strategy wargame with a lot of freedom. I've been reading about it, but I've seen mixed reactions, with the biggest problems being control and complexity.

If anyone who's played it can give me their thoughts and reccommendations, I'd appreciate it.
