Oh yeah! Dec. 5th Animal Crossing : Wild World for the DS will be out, and it's Wi-Fi ready. I've been playing Mario Kart DS over a Wi-Fi Connection and it's awesome. So with AC coming out, playing this game on-line visiting others towns and vise-versa will be fun.

I just got the new Nintendo Power and it has a great section on Animal Crossing, this version will ROCK! They have some new animal characters that play key parts in the game and new holidays too. Next Monday will be the start to a GREAT new year of AC:WW fun!

chris, i hope to see you there if i get the game. neil I've arranged a meeting with Dennis this Sunday at noon. If that goes well, you're invited to Gabi's (a rabbit in my town and easily my favorite resident so far) brithday party on the 16th. I just got the invitation today -- this should be interesting.

Gabi's a white bunny in Glosta, yes. When you go to someone else's town you automatically get the map to it, so you can find things pretty easily; she lives on the north side of the river, near the gate and my north bridge.

Think of the Sims with comic strip quality animals instead of humans. If you've never played The Sims, you essentially assume the life of a character, and your gameplay decisions equate to real life decisions made by the character.
Animal Crossing is a cyber drug that addicts anyone who dares turn it on and stay past the opening screens. Only the weakest of gamers will purchase it and fall victim to its enticement.
Okay, I'll admit that I bought it lastnight. Hey, it was double (employee) discount night at Gamestop, and I had to buy something. Why are you looking at me like that?
Between this, Mario Kart and the new Mario/Luigi game, the DS is kicking the crap out of the PSP (and the PSP has Smackdown; go figure that one out!).

Only the weakest of gamers will purchase it and fall victim to its enticement. Well, having it in your bloodstream from a few years ago affects you too. It was like my wife and I couldn't resist.

My Gamestop had them. Since buying EB Games, Gamestop has gone from company-wide releases of everything to regional releases and restocking, so I suspect your store either didn't get them, ran out or is on the slow shipment list (you find yourself there when your store is under-performing).
For the record, I will give you all a GREAT tip for finding videogame stuff. Whenever you can't find a game or game product, stop by your local Sears. They are trying deperately to grow this department, but virtually no one ever goes there to buy games (when's the last time you bought a gaming item at Sears?).

Dennis and I had some fun in each other's town on Sunday (although sadly we both had Oranges, so no fruit trade). My Nook's is getting its final upgrade today thanks to another visitor buying an axe, so I've at least got that problem out of the way!
