Well, [glow=red,2,300]Firepro Wrestling R[/glow] is about to be released....and they updated the website. They put new move videos up here: www.spike.co.jp/fr/waza.htmlUse the 1,2, and 3 in the upper right hand corner to navigate along the three pages of stuff. Newest as of this edition are a pinning combo called La Espalda done by Osaka Pro wrestler Billy Ken Kid on Black Buffallo, and Ryo Saito doing the Fisherman Express(rolling fisherman suplexes into a fisherman's buster) on CIMA in Dragon's Gate. Like two above(above the "kazuya" clip which is a double team Marifuji/sliced bread #2) is Petey Williams doing the Canadian Destroyer on AJ Styles. Also check this out: www.spike.co.jp/fr/gallery.htmlThis page has some pics of wrestlers-they're all semi-obscure Japanese dudes so some of you guys might not be interested, but check out the two Florida Brothers(the two "new" posts without the mask) and tell me those tights won't look rad on an Angle edit. Also, if you click on Movies on the upper right hand corner of that page, you can see the new exploding barbed wire landmine matches in action, and the bottom one is the TV commercial which shows a ton of new stuff and is really awesome. It was on amazon.jp for a while but the quality really sucked-this one is MUCH better quality. You can see facepaint for Sting and Animal in the face layering bit in the commercial as well.....Oh and the rad new ring entrances. No gear, but check out that arena! Just sit through the Japanese text...I can't read it, so I don't know what it says. Credit for all this stuff goes to the cool dudes on the gamefaqs fi-pro returns board and the dudes at fireproclub.com

I have a fliptop and it works fine...won't work standing though so you're stuck.
Really easy to install though-took like 5 min.
Places are getting FPR early-it's being shipped either to the stores or shipped out now depending on where they're located. I ordered from NCSX which is supposed to send them out tues. or wed. which is still before the 15th, the street date.

New info confirmed by people who have it already:
Elimination tags are in. This can be 2 on 2, 3 on 3, 4 on 4, or any handicap variation of the above including 1 vs 4, etc.
You can throw people into the cage, climb the cage, kick guys off of the wall, or grab while you're both climbing. Cage is far enough from ropes that you can still whip people to the ropes, and you climb out to the ring apron to climb the cage(sounds instantly up there as one of the best cage matches in games today).
You can do 4 different costumes per edit.
Guys that are more popular in the US confirmed so far:(cut and pasted from here:http://fury.joshipuro.com/fprroster.htm, where you can get more of the roster) I'm leaving a lot of names off, just to show some guys that wrestled in the states, pretty much:
- Josh Barnett - Scott Norton - Dynamite Kid - Curry Man(aka "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels) - American Dragon - Dory Funk Jr. - Stan Hansen - Bruiser Brody - Gary Albright - Jamal (From 3 Minute Warning) - Giant Bernard (AKA Albert from WWE) - Buchanan (aka Bull Buchanan) - D-Lo Brown - Rick Steiner - The Gladiator - Bison Smith - Scorpio - Donovan Morgan - Mike Modest - Low Ki - Steve Corino - Leonardo Spanky (Spanky/Brian Kendrick) - Jinsei Shinzaki(Hakushi) - Magnum TOKYO - MENS Teioh - Ryuji Yamakawa - Jun Kasai (Debut) - Madman Pondo (Debut) - 2 Tuff Tony (Debut) - TAKA Michinoku - Kensuke Sasaki - Akira Hokuto - Genichiro Tenryu - Hayabusa - The Great Kabuki - The Tiger/Ultimo Dragon - Kendo KaShin - Dick Togo - Gran Naniwa - Kikutaro/Ebessan (Debut) - Andre The Giant - Terry Funk - Abdullah The Butcher - Tiger Jeet Singh - Road Warrior Hawk - Road Warrior Animal - Vader - Steve Williams - Terry Gordy - Kevin Nash - Scott Hall - Sting - Bret Hart - Davey Boy Smith - Rikishi - Bam Bam Bigelow - Jeff Jarrett - Sabu - Matt Ghaffari - Jim Steele(Not the GWF Promoter) - AJ Styles - Petey Williams - Giant Singh - The Predator - Mike Barton(AKA Bart Gunn) - Tom Howard - Dan "The Buffalo" Bobish - Johnny Smith - Mil Mascaras - Black Tiger III(AKA Silver King) - Juventud Guerrera - Bob Sapp - Royce Gracie - Don Frye - Giant Silva - Lou Thesz - Karl Gotch

I went to the website cited and I just have one question. Did they have to include every wrestler imaginable. That is insane. I just have to ask how to buy this game and how to play it on my PS2. Also are you able to change the characters names to English. How much English is in the game (if at all)? Please answer these questions when you can because I love Firepro.

Okay, if you go to Purogamer.com there's a FAQ on flip tops for a ps2....if you have a regular "Fat" PS2 that's what you'll need.
If you have a new slimline, you use a "ghost switch" which I know nothing about but you can probably google it for info.
You can say not every wrestler imaginable because they're afraid to put WWE guys in, but they have edit heads(no list yet-I haven't seen one online and I haven't gotten my copy yet and won't until mid-late next week) but it's pretty freakin close!
You can rename everyone into english.
Supposedly there's even less english than previous Japanese firepros, and everyone is waiting on FAQs/translations.
Fat Dave is already working on an english translation patch if you have a DVD burner though...gonna take a long while but he's working on it and he already got a tiny bit to work!
