That's the best thing about Tom's game. I remember getting all of the AH games(although I enjoyed a few of them) wayyyyy back when, and even looking at those Downey games, you look and kinda go... HUH?
I remember getting Tom's game in the late 80's and just thinking how easy and self explanatory it looked just by looking at the back of the cards.
Keep the dice rolling..

I ended up buying the ebook version, and I must say it's pretty good. It's more of a story line game, but plays out nicely. It's much better than some of the other wrestling games I've bought in the past.

I have the WCCW version.
I even ran a couple of cards. I think it;s a great game...for what it is...but I don;t think it could ever build the emotion and drama...and fun that COTG does.
I would consider it a Face to the Mat lite!

I own Face to the Mat, so are you saying that UQW isn't worth getting if you have FTM? What's the difference?

The game is resolved with only a few dice rolls per match...perfect if you want to run through a couple of scenarios or have little time, but the result is little drama(psychology) as compared to COTG Here's a sample match... downeygames.tabletop-sports.com/UQWsample.htmThere is preplanned events that can happen before or after a match and it should be realitively easy for a seasoned player to design any wrestler ala FTTM For what it is UQW is a great game. It just doesn;t have the depth that COTG has

The board game is hugely complex and expensive. The computer game takes out the drudgery and is fun for singles matches but doesn't do tag team matches. If your taste runs to COTG/LOW, you would likely find WF too difficult. If you want to move-by-move simulation of a match, WF is fairly decent. Allen
