A set of questions for everybody whose played or is currently playing video games, just out of interest:
1) What's you're favorite video game of all time? 2) What video game are you currently playing? 3) What type of game do you like most? 4) Out of all the games you've played recently, which one do you consider the worst? 5) What was the last game you finished (w/o cheat codes and extensive walkthrough referencing)?

1. My all time favorite videogame is Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 by AKI. To this day, I still have an N64, a converter and this game, and I constantly update rosters and play like it's brand new.
2. I'm currently playing NCAA Football 2005 for the XBox.
3. Sports / Wrestling; I should point out that I see wrestling games as being closer to sports than fighting games, but not quite the same thing.
4. Hands down, WWE Wrestlemania 21 for XBox!!
5. Since sports games predominate my collection, I've not "finished" one in a while. I have, however, completed full seasons in wrestling, NBA, NFL and NCAA games. The last non-sports games I had time to fully complete without cheating (and before my schedule or the "trade it in now while the credit is still high" bug hit me) were Mech Assault 2 and Halo 2.

Cool Ringsyde:
1) My favorite would probably be No Mercy but that's most likely because I've never had the chance to play Fire Pro. If you want to go way back, I'd have to include NES Baseball Stars there too.
2) I'm playing GTA San Andreas now for XBox (don't have a Playstation) along with a smattering of Star Wars Battlefronts in between.
3) Same, sports and wrestling though I'm not a big sports watcher. I only ever had 1 non-wrestling title for my n64 run that wasn't wrestling and that was SWE1 Racer because i got it for 5 bucks.
4) Agreed on this one too, but mainly because I haven't been renting much and I try to be careful. Was hoping for a good wrestling game for XBox like Day of Reckoning but what can I say....
5) I think it was True Crimes: Streets of LA which explains the jump to GTA San Andreas. Also finished recently Zelda Windwaker but I had help there.

1) I don't know if I could ever label one game as my "favorite"; it really depends on the mood I'm in. MegaMan 2 holds a sentimental place in my heart, though, as it was the first game I ever really "wanted". 2) I am playing the crap out of Meteos on my DS. 3) I don't like (most) platformers, sim-style sports/racing games, or FPSs. Everything else is treated pretty much equally. 4) I try not to play bad games. While MegaMan Anniversary Collection (GameCube version) made the horrific error of switching the A and B buttons from their original functionality, I'm not sure if I've hated any recent game since WMX8 for GCN. EDIT: Or was that WMXIX? Whichever one had the incredibly stupid "Revenge" mode. I think that was XIX. 5) I finish all of my games without cheat codes or walkthroughs. (The ones that I actually finish; two Rare-published N64 titles are still sitting on my shelf uncompleted because I gave up on them.) The last one that I completed was Def Jam: Fight for NY, unless you count the fact that I've seen a dozen different endings in Meteos (which is a puzzle game; not technically "completable").

1- Final Fantasy 3 on the super nes greatest rpg of all time. I'd give that nod to Chrono Trigger, although Skies of Arcadia (Legends) definitley gave both a run for their money.

Hmmm, that's a toughy. Gotta go with Super Mario World. Dinosaurs and Mario, you can't go wrong. 2) Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door. I'm a Mario fan, can't you tell? do-do-do -do -do -do-dum. Also playing a lot of Quidich World Cup and Mario Kart (with the wife). 3) I'm still a big fan of the "side scrolling" types. Megaman, Mario, Zelda, those types. Of course I like wrestling games too. I dislike first person shooters though, they give me vertigo. 4) The Worst? Hmmm, another toughy. It would have to be Super Monkey Ball. It was fun, don't get me wrong, but it got so frustrating at times I felt like throwing a banana. That would be the worst I guess. None of the games I play "suck" in any since to me as I shy away from games I won't like. 5) Without walkthroughs? that's just wrong! Without those little maps sometimes I'm stuck for days! Seriously, the last game I finished without any help was Wolverine's Revenge. Had to get the book for X-Men Legends.

I boobed on an earlier answer. I'm playing NCAA College Football 2006, not 2005.
I also want to say that I was an EB Games associate when Superman for the N64 first came out, and to this day, it's got to be the WORST game I've ever played (anyone who has played it knows why I say this). Luckily, as an EB emplyee, I got to borrow it from the store to play it instead of being forced to purchase this pathetic pile.

Football. 4) I tried SMACKDOWN for PS2 about a year and a half ago, played it for 10 minutes and never played it again. I just wasn't into it. I guess I never got into wrestling video games because I always played COTG. 5) Same answer as RS. All I play is sports games. Like Chris, I always loved the Mega-Man series...all of them. When I was younger i used to play all the King's Quest, Space Quest, and Police quest games from Sierra...but as I got older, somewhere I just stopped playing anyhting but sports games.

1. Best game I ever played? Have to be Final Fantasy-X. That game rocks on so many levels! 2. I'm currently playing GTA: San Andres, and Star Trek: Bridge Commander (still!) 3. I most like either the standard RPG fare, or the "Resident Evil" style games. 4. Worst recent game? The Mercenaries. Not the best game out there. 5. Last game I finished was "Resident Evil: Director's Cut" for the ol' PS1. I can whomp that game in under 60 minutes!

1. My favorite video game of all time would probably be Resident Evil 4 or the madden Series. 2. I am currently playing Zelda: Minish Cap on the gameboy 3. I like a lot of the genres as long as it can manage to keep my attention and has good game play 4. Oh man...I don't know...probably the Tau Warrior game. I bought it at Blockbuster for $6 and I feel like I got ripped off... 5. Metroid Prime 2...I had it forever but before the Con...I sat and palyed it all the way through. good game...

1. Probably Resident Evil 2. I thought it was just such a freaking masterpiece...and the only game that EVER made me truly feel both a cinematic rush *and* the survival horror feel.
2. Nothing at the moment...but I suppose it would be Knights of the Old Republic 1 or 2.
3. Generally wrestling or adventure games.
4. Hm...I actually haven't played any bad games in a while,...but I've been REALLY choosy.
5. Knights of the Old Republic II.
