For those of you that have The Sims 2.....here is a thread to post your stories.....I will be posting mine in just a few.....

Oh, and anyone that is on the fence about this one....maybe this will push you either way to buy or not to buy

My first Sim i created is on his way out....at least i am kinda hoping. He has had a good, but tough life. Here is his story:

Nathan and Lani were room mates, moving in together in Strangetown (Nathan is a character I created with a friend of mine from work as the "template"...heh, turned out just like him too, for the most part anyways, down to the fact that he is terrified to use a public restroom).

He and Lani hit it off great (Lani was a HOT redhead....how do pixels look so good?) Anyways, they were working their way up in their relationship. Nathan became a career criminal, while Lani took a job in the local law enforcement.

Their relationship soared with the eagles....until Nathan met the maid. Lani somehow caught them cheating, and Nathan swore that he would never break her heart again. They worked things out, and eventually got engaged. The engagement party was a total fall-out, though (had no idea how to work a party....). They just simply fell out of love, and the romance was just as dead as a fallen rock. Though they still cared for each other greatly (their strongest fears were that the other would die), Nathan and Lani decided to part ways romantically.

Nathan then began a quest to "get with" the maid again (name: Aiyana). He and Aiyana hit it off, with Aiyana coming over nearly every day, and staying several hours after she finished cleaning the house (even though there really wasn't much to clean, as Nathan was an obsessive-compulsive clean freak).

Nathan finally got the nerve to ask her to get engaged....but Aiyana rejected him. For 5 times, this happened, spread out across the years. But Nathan was dead-set on marrying this girl (family aspiration). All this time, Lani, the room mate, continued to dislike Lani....

Nathan asked Aiyana to stay the night, and she said "sure, I haven't got anything better to do". Well, they immediately went to the bed, made out for several minutes....then finally, Woohoo'd themselves to sleep. The next morning, Nathan proposed, and Aiyana accepted!! The two married in a small ceremony in the living room. Nathan was beaming with pride in his new wife. Lani was happy for them (although, she still hated Aiyana).

Lani went on to meet a woman at work during all of this (Renee), eventually fell in love, had her move in, then both moved out and "joined" together in their own house.

Nathan & Aiyana finally had a baby boy, little Caelun. Times were good....Nathan continued in his criminal career, while Aiyana soared high in the Military. Caelun was a child prodigy, as he was taught how to walk, talk & was potty trained before his toddler years were over. Nathan & Aiyana were proud parents. But, Lani kept calling Nathan, and Renee was beginning to show an intense interest in Aiyana. The two then decided to move from Strangetown.

Hello Pleasantview!! A nice little town....Nathan & Aiyana would continue to grow as a couple, and Caelun would continue to grow as a polite young man (except for spying on old Mortimer Goth).

Caelun excelled at school, then took a job at a local business. He began to fall for an older woman (Christy). (Just a little note: I didn't realize that Christy was an adult...but i guess she was, cause Caelun was never able to go anywhere romantically with her until he became an adult).

Nathan soon began to dabble a bit...with another maid!! Well, he decided to tone it down, since he was nearing his elder days, and wanted to finish out his time on SimEarth with his lovely wife, Aiyana (who was buff like hell from working out so much).

Once Nathan entered his "silver" years, he planned an anniversary party....but disaster awaited. Aiyana had been courting a friendship with a man from the military base, and this friendship would begin to blossom into much more. Unfortunately, Nathan walked in at the last moment and caught them holding hands in the living room. Nathan rushed at Aiyana, slapping her and generally cussing her out. He then went after the military man, James, and lost a brutal fight involving chairs (the military man must have been a big wrestling fan).

Nathan, being painfully hurt by his one true love, pursued his love (or is it lust) interest with the maid again....This time, he and the maid was caught in bed together (no woohoo, just cuddling). The marraige plummeted....

Aiyana would gossip about it to their son, who in turn would end up hating Nathan. Nathan would gossip about the fact that he and Aiyana hadn't slept in the same bed for months now to his maid, who would in turn gossip to Caelun about it. Caelun's schooling would suffer, as he was just generally saddened that his picture-perfect family was falling apart.

Nathan & Aiyana would stay together (for the sake of their child). Nathan would continue to go after the maid, while Aiyana's love interest would fail with the military guy. Finally, Nathan had the maid stay over, and they did some woohoo (in his son's bed of all places!!). They did it once again a few days later.

Meanwhile, he and Aiyana were just married on paper, as they never talked, and they both had fallen out of love with each other.

Nathan had finally decided to call it off with the maid, and try to work things out with Aiyana before he passed on.

Their son, Caelun, has now just entered into adult-hood, continuing his career in the business field. He also had his first ever kiss right after he grew up, kissing Christy.

During the "First Kiss", Aiyana and Nathan were arguing. After the kiss, Aiyana made fun of Christy....

Nathan is still alive....but lonely, sad, and about to pass at any time (been alive for about 65 days, it says).

Aiyana at the moment has a crush on the military guy, but that relationship is falling fast, as they just cannot talk about anything anymore.

Caelun is a happy (romantic) sim, who has just entered into a new phase of his life. He has a love (Christy), a good job....and looks to inherit the house. Once Nathan passes on, Caelun plans on asking Christy to marry him and move into the family house.
