I'm going to pick this game
up soon, I've heard good
things about it...
It's a GTA based game thats
based on Spider-Man... this
good be a cool game.
Anyone have the game yet?

I got this the day it came out and love it. You do have freedom to maneuver all over New York, except to the Statue of Liberty, which you can only reach after completing a mission.
Half the game is the actualy storyline, the other half is stopping random crimes, rescueing random people, finding stuff (coins, hint markers), and completing optional missions (races challenges, delvering pizza, meeeting Mary Jane, etc.)
Web slinging is easy, though maneuvering quickly takes some practice. Do practice though since several missions are timed.
Combat is fun with lots of options (like throwing guys off of buildings or hanging them from poles).
My only gripe is Misterio's missions. I'm still stuck there on his second one so I used a cheat code that takes you to the end of the game with nearly everything unlocked so I can just complete the other challenges.
Overall, well worth the $. Hope you enjoy it as well!

I bought this game on the day that it came out and have to say that it is rather cool...you go around and fight petty crimes (although this gets a lil' old after awhile) and then go through the storyline and fight several of webheads classic enemies...two of them were in the first game. It's definitely a keeper...

Yeah, I got it, played it, beat the main story, and then found out you don't unlock anything by doing all the challenges and stuff, so I stopped playing it.
Still, while it lasted it was really cool. It's REALLY fun to websling, especially when you get all the abilities.
