Anyone planning on getting into this game? I'm starting up on launch this Sunday after having a pretty fun Beta. The game isn't that deep, I call it the Gauntlet of MMORPG's, but it's insanely fun.
Anyway I was going to create an Iron Man type of character and call him Iron Mane, but decided to go with En Force instead. It'd be really interesting to run around with some CotG name characters though.

I don't think my PC could run it.  Even if it could, I'd rather spend my $15 a month on Magic Online, where it isn't mandatroy that I do so. |

This game could be enough to make me do the mmorpg thing (which I normally stay away fromdue to cost, quality of servers and the bad habits of some players in the onlie community). If I do get it, I intend to make the black man's answer to Captain America, and I'll call him Patriot (as in U.S.). Maybe we can get together and form the Avengers. Let me know.

It's to bad we don't have more CotG'rs in the game. I'm on Justice Server w/ a SuperGroup I started called the The Faction. If anyone ever gets started up there and you come across any of The Faction just let them know or you can contact me directly as my character is Epoch.

I am soooo tempted to deal out the money for it....just not sure of it though.
Give me your review....
I have played other mmorpg's before....and just get tired of the mundane stuff that is in them (Star Wars Galaxies, Final Fantasy XI....)
The best one i played was Planetside.....but i had to drop that one due to the instability of the game....
But, this one does look quite interesting.

I will say that I haven't played a lot of MMORPG's before, but I have played A LOT of games over the years, and this one is superb. It's almost a cross between Unreal Tournament and Freedom Force. I think that this game hasn't even reached its peak yet, as the City of Villians expansion is due out in the fall and will make this a much more interesting game and allow for some player vs. player scenerios (right now you can only team up with other players). Character creation in this game is off-the-charts good. You can create characters with no significant limitations (expect that you can't recreate established Marvel or DC characters- legal issues there). There are a wide variety of looks, powers and you can write your own character background. I'd definitely recommend the game. I have been playing for a bit, level 13 blaster on Pinnacle.
character name is Blue Bolte
oh, and i have created a SuperGroup called "Champions of the Galaxy"
