I do, but I inevitably fall in the slightly favoring of one side.
But yes, it is possible.
I would say the only real down fall to playing solitaire is the lack of new tactics. You always have one way you play ertain characters (beatsicks stick to cover and rush, shooters cover etc,) but you may not find any new strategies like this.
