Below is a play testing card for several wrestlers I've been working on for probably the past year and a half. Many don't have art yet, but the ones that do are curtosey of Ray, aka Disaster. Most of the stats at this point lack ch situations and hopefully I'll be able to iron out, and fully balance the stats before too long.
Pro Wrestling RUIN is a Japanese based company that is intent on taking wrestling to new extremes. It brings a cast of colorful characters and insane match stipulations to the table. All in an attemp to entertain and shock the fans.
Below is the lineup for the card and part one of a brief bio for some of the main characters.
Pro Wrestling RUIN(Revolution Underground Independent Network) #1
Tokyo Olympic Plaza (3,500 capacity)
1.DEADGUY and Stevie ZOMBI vs. Macabre and Pendulum
2.Ryuji TERROR vs. DEATHDEALER Shiomi Yamakawa
3.The Asian Fight Group (Tomo & Yasuo) vs. Sarcofago and Holocausto
4.“Hellchild” Tsukasa Harakawa vs. “Desolate Hand” Shozo Kuromeru
5.Deadskin Mask vs. DEVILBUTCHER Namazawa - Barbed-Wire Plank Ring of Destruction Time Bomb Death Match
Cast of Characters :
DEADSKIN MASK : Deadskin Mask’s past is sketchy at best. It is rumored that Deadskin Mask is the Cetus strangler turned professional wrestler. The strangler, as he came to be known by various news outlets throughout Cetus, killed over a dozen women during the Summer of 2120, all by strangulation. The case was never solved and to this day the exact details of case remain unreleased. What details have been released to the public have been put under intense scrutiny by the press and the families of the victims. Deadskin Mask’s identity is unknown as he wears a leather, skin like mask to the ring for his matches and in promos often refers to Ed Gein as his hero and inspiration. His entire upper body is covered is ghastly looking tattoos and scars, and his in ring style reflects it. DSM is known for his reckless, outrageous style and his knack for taking established moves and re-imagining them in ways none of his peers have ever dreamed of. He is most feared for his finishers, the gruesome FINGERS IN THE THROAT, a move where he takes both his index finger and the middle finger and shoves them in the opponent’s mouth and into their throat in an attempt to suffocate them. IN most companies the move is illegal, but in pro Wrestling RUIN, the move is completely legal and often results in submission victories. His second, and main finisher, is the ED GEIN FACEBUSTER, a top rope rolling variation of the Arabian Facebuster.
HELCHILD TSUKASA HARAKAWA : Harakawa hails from Japan and is considered one of the brightest up and coming stars in the entire country. Harakawa distinguishes himself with his ring attire as he wears a massive gold and black Lion mask (similar to Tiger Mask, except a Lion). Harakawa’s style is a blend of high impact offense with jaw dropping high risk moves. He was given the nickname Hellchild because, as many of his past opponents have put it, he is hell in the ring. His finisher, THE HOWLING BULL is unique for it’s devastating finishing power. A top rope avalanche tiger suplex, dropping the opponent directly on their head. But instead of releasing it after impact, he rolls over the opponent and locks them in a Dragon Sleeper (similar to a move Low Ki uses; top rope dragon sleeper drop). It is called the Howling Bull because Harakawa howls in a deep roar as he hit’s the move.
DESOLATE HAND SHOZO KUROMERU : Kuromeru is a former Yakuza assassin turned pro wrestler. Kuromeru is a master at an open palm heart punch that he has named the DESOLATE HAND, which is said to rip the soul from his opponents. Shozo also sports another finisher, called THE RED CHORD. A move which is illegal if caught by the ref, but fortunately for him, it rarely is. Shozo conceals a dulled stiletto knife in his wristbands and when he locks the opponent in a sleeper hold, quickly drags the blade across the opponent’s neck! The blade is not sharp enough to cut, but it does leave a deep red line across the opponent’s neck, thus the name The Red Chord.
DEVILBUTCHER NAMAZAWA : Namazawa was trained by the one and only Rep Saki, and was given the task of taking out his brother, the legendary King of Death, Tenzan Sasaki. Saki gave him the name, Devilbutcher for obvious reasons, but before he could carry out the task he was intended for, Namazawa rebelled against his teacher, and struck out on his own. Namazawa is very much a fan of the black metal scene that populated Europe during the late 20 century, which explains his in ring look. He dressed in corpse paint and often wears massive spiked gauntlets to the ring. Namazawa uses two finishers, the ARM TRAP ANACONDA VICE SLAM and the ARMBAR THRESHOLD, an armbar submission in which he locks on the move and then repeatedly drops the opponent’s elbow across his knee in an attempt to break the opponent’s arm.
Part two on the way.
Up Next :

forgive any typos and mistakes as I typed this up fairly fast:-)
