HEW Heavyweight Title Tournament

Heartland Elite Wrestling is my newly-created LWF bootleg promotion, consisting primarily of wrestlers who perform, or have performed, in the Heartland Wrestling Association or its newly-created splinter promotion, Elite Global Order Pro Wrestling (aka, EGO Pro). The first show was a house show held on November 2 at the HEW Arena (Which is the current site of the HWA Arena), which determined the inaugural HEW Heavyweight champion.

ROUND 1:

• Rory Fox pinned Matt Stryker with the TRL SLAM.
  
• Gotti defeated Tack by disqualification when Tack rammed Gotti's head into the security rail repeatedly.
  
• 4BJ (aka, Brian Jennings) defeated Pepper Parks by disqualification when Parks rammed Brian's head into the security rail repeatedly, but the attack didn't end there, as Rory Fox ran into the ring after the match and helped Parks perform double top turnbuckle elbow and knee drops repeatedly on Jennings. When the attack was over, Jennings had to be taken to the hospital, where he will be laid up for 6 weeks.
  
• Nigel McGuinness pinned B.J. Whitmer with the TOWER OF LONDON.
  
• Shark Boy pinned Chad Collyer with the SEAD SEA DROP.
  
• Dave Crist defeated Quentin Lee by count out.
  
• Ala Hussein made Jake Crist submit to the CAMEL CLUTCH.
  
• Sean Casey defeated E.Z.Money by disqualification when E.Z. Money rammed his head into the security rail repeatedly.
  
• Human Time Bomb made Cody Hawk submit to the STRAIGHTJACKET.
  
• Chet Jablonski pinned Barnestormer with HIT THE SHOWERS.
  

ROUND 2:

• Rory Fox defeated Gotti by disqualification following a brawl outside the ring.
  
• Nigel McGuinness earned a bye into the next round, due to 4BJ's injuries.
  
• The match between Shark Boy and Dave Crist ended in a double disqualification due to the referee being accidentally knocked down during a top turnbuckle spot. The referee in charge was unsure who knocked him down, so he disqualified both wrestlers as a precaution.
  
• Sean Casey pinned Ala Hussein with the SUPER KICK.
  
• Chet Jablonski pinned HTB with HIT THE SHOWERS after Bobbi Jo Jablonski choked him in the corner with her necklace chain behind the referee's back.
  

ROUND 3:

• Rory Fox pinned Nigel McGuinness with the TRL SLAM.
  
• Chet Jablonski pinned Sean Casey with HIT THE SHOWERS.
  

Chet didn't get much time to rest when Rory Fox made him submit to a sleeper hold in the final match to capture the HEW Heavyweight title.

These names brings back great memories for me, Barn. I used to watch HWA every week on Ch 45 in Dayton, OH. I just Knew that some of that talent was too good Not to make the big time! No Helena Heavenly in this Fed? Good stuff. Keep it up.

I may do a manager version of her sometime down the road. As for a wrestler version, I'd need to find some footage of her matches in order to figure out her moveset. Then I would need to find footage of other female wrestlers in the HWA, including AJ Sparxx, Hailey Hatred/Bobbi Jo Jablonski, Heather Owens, and the coup de grace for my HWA women's collection, Tina Ambrose. If you know where I can get my hands on the old footage, let me know.

The HEW is progressing really well and is growing, so long as I can find footage of matches of everybody who's wrestled in the HWA or EGO Pro Wrestling.
