1. KOKO B. WARE from the LWF defeated Stigma from the GWF by disqualification.
It was an incredible back and forth contest which saw neither man getting a pinning situation. Ultimately, the battle spilled outside the ring, where a frustrated Stigma repeatedly whipped the “Bird Man” into the ring post, forcing the referee to call for the bell.
2. Dewie Cheatham from the HWA and Larry Sharpe from the LWF defeated J.J. Smooth from the GWFZ and Plethador from the GWF by pinfall.
Due to inexperience as teams, the match turned mostly into a one-on-one match between Dewie Cheatham and J.J. Smooth. Dewie managed to get the pinfall victory when he pinned J.J. with a hangman’s clothesline
3. Phantasy from the GWF defeated Ambrosia by pinfall.
Despite the fact that she’s still suffering the effects of the triple-team attack from the Troubleshooters and Latasha back in June, Phantasy still managed to dominate the adopted daughter of HWA alumnus David Philip Snedeker and wife of Epsilon Beta, pinning her after delivering the SWEET SUICIDE.
4. The GWFZ title match between champion Morbid and Overtime ended in a double disqualification.
This was a relatively short match, as the action spilled out of the ring, where the two brawled endlessly until the referee got fed up with both of their refusals to get back into the ring and disqualified them both. Once OWP officials finally managed to separate the two, Overtime inexplicably ripped into Massif, calling to question his skills as a commissioner. Eventually, Massif ordered the OWP officials to escort Overtime out of the building, and shrugged off all of Overtime’s remarks, since he had other things to worry about, like the title unification matches still to come later in the night.
5.Ida Mae Martinez defeated LWF Ladies champion “Sensational” Sherri Martel by disqualification, but Martel remained the LWF Ladies champion.
Sherri must’ve been worried about losing her title to Martinez or something, because she intentionally got herself disqualified by whipping Ida Mae repeatedly into the ring post.
As if Massif didn’t have enough to deal with after Overtime’s tirade, Monolith and the Dark Menace entered his office and complained that he should’ve been given a shot at the GWF Heavyweight title on the card that night, since he’d never been given a fair chance to win the title back. (To catch everybody up to speed, Endgame and Monolith faced each other once again for the vacated GWF Heavyweight title on September 10, which Monolith won by disqualification when Endgame repeatedly whipped Monolith into the ring post. Since titles sanctioned by the OWP can only be won by pinfall or submission, the title remained vacant. The OWP championship committee decided to hold a one-night 8-man tournament to crown a new GWF champion. Monolith was the odds-on favorite, but was dominated and pinned in the first round by Endgame. Disaster went on to pin Wolf with the RAMPAGE to win the title.) Massif informed him that there was nothing he could to that night, since the fans had already paid to see the GWF title and CPC title unified; however, on the next card, he would get a shot at the unified titles. Monolith left the office, but it wasn’t certain whether or not the fans would see the last of him that night.
6. “Surfer” Cody Hawk from the LWF defeated GTA from the HWA by disqualification.
The action from this match spilled outside the ring, where GTA kept slamming Cody’s head into the security rail. It wasn’t until Cody’s head was busted open that the referee called for the bell and disqualified the BAD BOYZ member.
7. Shylock pinned Disaster in a Titan Death Match to unify the GWF and CPC Heavyweight titles.
Everybody knew Monolith was going to make another appearance, and he didn’t disappoint, as at one point during the match, Shylock hit the FALLOUT on Disaster, but Monolith ran into the ring and attacked him with a Gladiator Piledriver, allowing Disaster to recover and hit the RAMAGE, which only resulted in a two-count. Later in the match, Disaster once again hit the RAMPAGE, and once again Monolith tried to interfere, but Disaster saw him coming and smashed Monolith’s and Shylock’s head together and went for the cover, but he couldn’t even get a one-count. Later in the match, Shylock hit a weaker version of the FALLOUT, and Monolith tried to clothesline Shylock, but he ducked and Monolith clotheslined Disaster as he recovered and began to stand. Monolith’s continued momentum caused him to tumble out of the ring as Shylock once again hit the FALLOUT, which resulted in the final pin.
8. Rage and Paralyze defeated Darwin’s Legacy in a Titan Death Match by pinfall to unify the GWF and CPC Tag Team titles.
It was an incredible back and forth contest which finally ended when Rage pinned Hadrian by way of DEATH AFTER DEATH.
9. Morgana pinned Shann-Ra in a Titan Death Match to unify the GWF and CPC Ladies titles.
It clearly wasn’t Shann-Ra’s night, as she wasn’t able to mount a significant offense against Morgana. In the end, she fell victim to the RICOCHET, as Morgana picked up the pinfall victory and the GWF and CPC Ladies titles. After her title victory, Massif came down to ringside holding 4 bags and asked Shylock, Rage and Paralyze to come to the ring and surrender all of their title belts. Once all of the belts were handed to the OWP officials, including the GWF and CPC Ladies titles, each champion was given a bag. Shylock opened his bag (a gold colored satin one) and pulled out the newly designed GWF title belt. Rage and Paralyze each pulled out the newly designed GWF Tag Team title belts from their black satin bags, while Morgana pulled out the newly designed GWF Ladies title belt from her silver colored satin bag. Each champion held their new title high as the fans applauded them.
10. Bruiser Brody pinned Nikolai Volkoff to successfully defend the LWF United States Heavyweight title.
In what could be considered a classic bout, Brody’s “never say die” attitude allowed him to keep pace with the tone-deaf Russian (who insisted on singing the Soviet National Anthem before the match began) and pin him with the JUMPING KNEE DROP to keep the US title around his waist.
11. Lucy Kannin pinned Demiah the Devil’s Daughter to capture the HWA Ladies title.
Lucy may have a “short fuse”, but now she has a title around her waist, as she pinned the now-former champion when she used LIGHT THE FUSE.
12. The Road Warriors defeated the Hennigs by pinfall to successfully defend the LWF United States Tag Team titles.
Hawk started the match against Curt Hennig, and then as he set him up for the quick victory, he quickly tagged in Animal who softened “Mr. Perfect” even further before finishing him off by pinning him with the DOOMSDAY DEVICE.
13. The Fabulous Kangaroos defeated the Fabulous Redheads by pinfall to capture the LWF Tag Team titles.
In the biggest match of these two teams’ feud, Al Costello pinned Red Bastien with the BOOMERANG to end the Redheads’ second LWF Tag Team title reign.
14. Tack pinned “Barnestormer” David Barnes to successfully defend the LWF Heavyweight title.
Tack almost lost the title when the Barnestormer managed to hit the CRASH & BURN, but the “Daredevil of Extreme” managed to kick out and pin David with the DEVIL DRIVER and hold onto the belt.
15. Warren Peace pinned Ugly Coyote to successfully defend the HWA Heavyweight title.
Ugly Coyote was unable to put up too much offense, as he was practically overwhelmed by the HWA Champion. Perhaps it was nerves over it being his first major PPV appearance, but whatever the reason, Warren put him away in a short amount of time with the PEACE TREATY.
MAIN EVENT: The New Millennium Renegades defeated HWA Tag Team champions Road-Rayge by disqualification, but since the title can only change hands on a pinfall or submission, Road-Rayge remain the HWA Tag Team champions.
From the moment that “Dangerous” Dan Sexton tagged in his younger clone, “Renegade” Danny Redbow, Redbow dominated Roadkill, and eventually locked in the CHEROKEE DEATHLOCK; however, in an attempt to save the match for his team, Rayge attacked Redbow with Great Vengeance, and was caught by the referee, who called for the bell and disqualified the tag champs.
