This is one of my ALL-Time favorite matches ever created. It's simplistic in appearance but very creative at the same time. It's also about 15 to 17 years old and it still rocks. I used it for Sam then U.S. Patriot and now U.S. Male and American Guy.

Great idea to post these, KB! I moved the topic here since it fits in with the "fan-made" house rules.

I thought people might enjoy these old classics. I bet there's not many actual copies in existence any more. Thank god for the INTERNET and copy machines huh/ Mike seen fit to bury it here though where nobody ever goes. Thanks a lot. ;D

Sam's Brawl was fun. Was the Special Match of the Year in the old Super Report if I remember correctly. I typed up the Widowmaker for Chad - he always did love the crazy bloodbath matches!
I haven't used either since regularly playing GWF. I did use my Alley Fight, which is like an old style (multiple fall) Texas Death Match to settle the Race/Bockwinkel feud in 2003 of my NWF.
Ah, the memories...

I just love the fact that these were done in typewriter days and are still being used somewhere.

Ah, the memories... I got some FMW & TWA in 92/93 and I was hooked, what can I say? The Alley Fight still kicks much butt! Hopefully I'll have a feud big enough in the AWA to use it someday.

Thanks, Kevin for scanning and posting these. I also use the Alley Fight in the USWA. I am actually using it on the next card as what I anticipate will be the finale of the feud between Mil Mascaras and Nick Bockwinkel. When Commander Sam retired to become a full-time manager in my fed, he retired by beating Dreadnaught (in his prime) in a great five-star Sam's Brawl. I was a mark for ECW and FMW at the time and got into the Widowmaker when Chad made it. I think I used it 3-4 times total as that one should be the end to a really crazy feud. Kevin, do you have Chad's Barbed Wire Baseball Bat Match rules? The first time I played that was Pit Viper vs. The Draconian Sheik (original L.E. card). Viper and Pulsar set Sheik's head on fire after about a minute of action.

I'm such a pack rat but it pays off some times. These were and ARE some great matches and I thought people would like to still use them that maybe didn't even know they existed. I'm glad you guys don't care I posted your matches. Cory, I still have your Truck Match!

Cory, I still have your Truck Match! Tim Dalton's favorite match This match turned out to be a mistake. I even banned it in my own fed.

I'll never forget when i rolled a 12 in Sam's Brawl match with Sam vs. Dreadnaught and Sam was clobbered by a purse wielding Tongsoon dressed up like an old lady in the front row. It was hilarious and a total blast.

Cory's Triton Truck Match and my High Seas Match were pretty horrible.
The matches that I typed up were done on a primitive word processor called Uniplex (written for UNIX operating system when the entire world was using DOS) and printed on a dot matrix printer.
I don't use many of those old matches, but I will break out Mark Taggart's Stretcher Match every now and then.
I still have the compilation that Mark & Bob Ashby put together when writing the Super Report.
Curiosity question for Mark - did you ever run "Castle Cosmos" and if so, who won? That looked like an all day affair.

Really cool stuff and nice to see some of the pioneering of player-made matches.

I just got them retyped a couple of days ago. Give me a couple of days and I'll see if I can get them converted to PDFs.
