How do you guys determine the time of a match?
Do you use real time or the number of dice rolls?
Just curious.

I've been going with 10 seconds per dice roll.

I play a match, then when it's over I subtract 2 minutes from the actual time elapsed to make up for the fact that some moves obviously take longer to execute than 0.5 seconds to roll a die.
For time limit draws, if the set time limit runs out I will roll for 10 more moves (including chart stuff). This signifies the last 10 seconds of the match. If no one wins after 10 moves, then it's a draw. This is pretty cool as I've had some matches determined within the final few rolls.
I also keep track of time with a stopwatch in case the phone rings or I get distracted by something else. I just point my pencil tip at whoever's offense or defense level should get rolled after the match resumes and I'm all set.
