Got another quick question, again to see how different promoters handle rules in the game... I use a Battle Royal Chart I created for my battle royals that works very well, however, my question is, do you promoters use a wrestler's BASIC or ADVANCED Pin Ratings for this type of match? I have been thinking of using the Basic Rating as I think it is much easier to toss someone out of the ring than it is to pin them. What do you guys do? Peace!

I use advanced pins for everything. Never had any use for the basic pin rating, except back in 1987 when I had my first few cards.
The "out of the ring" roll makes it easy enough to throw someone out, no need for the higher pins, imo.

I also use the advanced PIN Ratings. I see it as a wrestler trying to get thrown out, but for whatever reason, they are able to hang on and not hit the floor. As the battle royal progresses, they become weaker from repeated attempts. I tried it once with the basic PIN Rating idea, and my battle royal only lasted about 10 minutes.

I've started using the basic rating, plus the wrestler that's attempting to throw them out's power, minus the opponents' agility rating. It takes a little longer, but I think it's more believeable. The lowest this can be is "3".
Honestly, someone needs to make a battle royal out of the ring or ropes chart. That would help alot. Something where perhaps two wrestlers are fighting on the ropes, a third comes over to help one of the wrestlers eliminate one, or just to dump both wrestlers over the top!

Cyndi's rules are great, but while using them it took me over 2 hours to run a 20-man battle royal. I've tweaked them since then to include more PIN Rating involvement, and it's worked well. My BR's are about an hour now, which is the way I like them.

I hate to admit to sound like an idiot, but I've been playing since 89 and never figured out the battle royal.
I posted this somewhere else, but since the GWF is "real", i put em in a file, draw fish, and there's the winner.
I know, sounds gazoo...
