From Impact taping tonight: - Scott Steiner defeated Petey Williams, BG James and Christopher Daniels in a Four Way match. - Jeremy Borash comes to the ring and they offer Steiner a $50,000 check or any choice of "Feast Or Famine" briefcase he wants. They had the briefcases set up like the show "Deal Or No Deal", complete with girls next to the briefcases. Steiner decides to take Petey's briefcase. Petey was then given Scott Steiner's case. Petey opened it and found out he now had the World Heavyweight Title match.Later... BG James was allowed to open his "Feast or Fired" briefcase and found out he won the World Tag Team Title shot. - X-Division Lumberjack Match: Black Machismo defeated Johnny Devine (Senshi was a lumberjack.)- Scott Steiner and Christopher Daniels opened the last two "Feast or Fired" cases. Steiner got the X-Division Title shot and Daniels got the fired slip. He cried, shook hands with Steiner and Borash and left. Well, my brain is dead.

They should have just used it to "fire" Senshi.

Any why give Steiner and X-Division title shot? I guess the X-division belt is officially just the TNA IC belt now, nothing special there. Daniels 'fired' I'm ok with.. he'll likely go back to RoH, which is good

What the hell are they even thinking these days? This is why TNA is so frustating. They can put on a great PPV, then follow it up with a bunch of confusing and idiotic storylines leading into a gow awful PPV, follow THAT by making a big signing like Booker T, and then flush it all down the toilet with yet more crappy booking. It's utterly baffling that a company with that much potential can't get their sh*t together for more than maybe three weeks at a time.

I found this utterly hilarious.
It's from Meltzer's daily update, and just about sums up this fed's booking strategy.
SPOILER BELOW!!!!!!
--Just a clarification when it comes to TNA on a taping report. Jay Lethal is still the X division champion. The ladder match that airs on tomorrow night's television is for possession of the belt. But it was not a title match. If you can make sense out of that, you're a better man than I. How can the promotion sanction a match where "the belt" is at stake as opposed to ordering "the belt" go to the champion. And they wonder why they are down to 1-2% of their TV audience buying their PPV shows.

One out of four of these makes sense. . . BG gets the tag title shot. Hopefully they win the belts from Tomko and AJ, then quickly lose them to either LAX or the Motor city Machine Guns. Steiner vs. the X-Division champ might be interesting, if Steiner is willing to put Lethal over. If Steiner just goes out there and squashes Lethal, it will be pretty much the final nail in the X-Division coffin. Speaking of which, Petey's going to get buried. If he actually gets the shot I'll be surprised. I bet that he loses the shot to someone else before the end of the month. . . Probably Christian. Is Daniels actually leaving? Or are they going to do some sort of Bullet/Red River Jack/Yellow Dog/Midnight Rider/Machines/I could go on all night gimmick with him? I could see him going under the hood, but there's no heel responsible for his firing to get revenge on.

Yeah, it would be so much more entertaining with Ken Kennedy on it ... now that's someone who can draw a pop.

I've been enjoying Impact the last few weeks, especially this past weeks tag main event and the 3-way dance from the thanksgiving show a few weeks ago. My only problem with the Joe/Sabin/Styles 3-way was that they kept cutting to commercials every 2 minutes which really disrupted the flow of what otherwise seemed like a damn good match.
That being said, reading the results here makes me wonder...WTF.
