Sabu was backstage a recent TNA iMPACT! taping looking for work, but was denied. The company told him that there are currently no open spots on the roster. TNA is looking focus more energy on their underutilized home grown talent. Booker T is an exception to that rule since he is still a top star in the industry.

Now THERE is a novel idea, TNA!

That's what Sabu gets for leaving TNA with the idea that he'd persue a return to the bygone days in a VKM-ran ECW.

Good for TNA.

That is just so awesome. Hopefully they'll stick to this policy and castaways like Masters won't be finding work there either.

I'd like to see RVD in TNA..Sabu i could care less.

I'm sure RVD counts as a big enough star that TNA would want him.

The latter part of that article stated RVD was in talks with TNA, but still planned to "recharge his batteries" for awhile.

This is definitely a step in the right direction for TNA and a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

On a similar note, I thought it was great that the Thanksgiving Impact main event featured three homegrown talents and was a pretty long match to boot.
