While the show sounded pretty good....the main event for their next PPV.... the tag match for the singles World Title.. for the company that contiues to push itself as the home of "real" wrestling.... will apparently be Kurt Angle and Kevin nash teaming up against Sting and his partner.... ....SCOTT HALL!!!!  |

Hey! Don't you roll your eyes at the Bad Guy! While I loathe to see him in the ring again, I'm certainly in the mood for a good old fashioned Scott Hall promo.
TNA seems to be going the mid-90s WCW route. Snatch up as many names from WWE past as possible to gain legitimacy for yourself. I don't think it'll work, but you've got to admire their determination.

Actually, at the tapings, Nash told Angle that it was going to be Hall. While Hall could still be his partner, wouldn't it be stupid for Sting to choose Hall? I think they are just trying to pull a swerve. |

I've been reading rumors that Hall is in better shape and may be coming back.....but it doesn't seem TNA's style to blow the 'surprise' like this. And didn't Sting say that his partner was a former world champion in ever fed he was in? Hall never held the World Title in the WCW or WWE, did he? Seems to still be an area of uncertainty.... |

It could still possibly be Booker I s'pose..bu I still have no idea how TNA thinks booking a storyline this convoluted is a good idea.
The 10 millionth TNA Title controversy....leading to a tag team title for the World Title...where for the 10 millionth time TNA books two partners who hate eah other (Angle and Nash this time)....leading to a mystery partenr for Sting...who *might* be Hall?
And the pay-off? A PPV headlined by 4 guys who are over the hill and the exact opposite of everything TNA did to get themselves a fanbase in the first place?
And no...I know it won't work and I can't admire their determination because TNA ALREADY DID THIS!!! Does no one remember the Kings of Wrestling angle with JJ/Nash/Hall feuding with AJ Styles and Randy Savage? Or JJ's "feud" with DDP? This is a proven failure.
TNA sucks. I cant believe how a company with this much actual talent continues to crap its pants.

Sadly, when one promotion is the dominant force in the market, the only real entry strategy is to pick up their scraps and fill the niche voids they fail to occupy. But when that dominant force discards a gem like Kevin Nash... Well, let's just say that's how they almost lost the war in the first place.
