We'll just have to disagree, PureHatred. I feel like he's a lifer because he has meant so much to TNA over the last 5 years. I believe they have mentioned he's the only TNA wrestler to hold the World, X, and Tag belts at least on a regular basis. He was the TNA MVP (as voted by fans) like three years in a row.
Could he sign with WWE? Sure. It's certainly possible. I'm not of the mind they would waste him because I watched Benoit, Jericho, Rey, and Eddie go from midcard cruiserweights in WCW to World Champions in WWE. AJ falls into a catagory of wrestler WWE doesn't typically push. But history shows that when that type of smaller wrestler is good enough, they push him anyway. I think AJ is good enough. He might languish innthe midcard till he's 40 in WWE, but it would eventually happen.
They actually have a perfect set up to make him relevant right now. With Team 3D tearing up the X Division and wanting backthe tag belts, AJ is poised in a perfect position to lead an X Division War against Those Damn Dudleys with maybe Tomko backing him up. Are they smart enough to realize that? Maybe, maybe not. But I like the idea.
And at least AJ is having matches and has a Title right now. You want to talk wasted talent? Look no further that Petey Williams. How can the most talented guy in Team Canada do the worst upon it's break up.

How can the most talented guy in Team Canada do the worst upon it's break up. Now that's definitely true. If you're talking about talent inside the ring, I agree. However, Petey Williams doesn't seem like he can do much when it comes to promos. I think when it comes to all around talent from Team Canada, I have to go with Robert Roode. This guy is solid in the ring (not as good as Petey, but good enough nonetheless) and he can cut promos at a main event level.(IMO) PH we had a brutal discussion some time about Jeff Jarrett holding the belt. The argument came to "if Jarrett shouldn't hold the belt, who should?" If I had heard Roode on the mic during this time, I would not have bothered saying "keep the belt on Jarrett, because no other heel can get the negative reaction like he can." In a nutshell, when(if) they ever put the TNA Heavyweight title on homegrown talent, I hope it's Roode. He's my favorite coming out of Team Canada, and probably out of all the homegrown talent of TNA.
