FROM LORDS OF PAIN
Austin Arries (Austin Starr) was, very quietly, released of his TNA contract last week. Shortly after receiving his release, he signed with Ring of Honor. Aries’ return angle was taped at the ROH PPV tapings in Chicago Ridge, IL

He was also at ringside Friday night during the Dayton show.

Bring in Animal, but lose Austin (Starr) Aries. Granted, Animal is a legit legends, but come on...he's pushing 50 and can't go any more.
Personally, I don't hate (or like) the WWE or TNA. But wrestling always needs a strong 2nd company. Sadly, about three years ago, TNA had an outside shot. Sadly, that time has passed....

Great news!
Aries is a far more signifigant part of RoH that he was ever gonna be in TNA.

Let's see -- ROH = wrestling with talented guys...TNA = feuding with Bob Backlund. I'd say Austin Starr/Aries is just a WEE BIT better off

I think so, I'd imagine TNA pays alot more though..
@ Trav: Even though I agree the booking has been lousy lately, the ratings are doing well.. and approaching ECW's.. they're actually closer to being that 2nd option we all want than when the booking was alot better, sadly.

Isn't it weird that when it's well booked, ratings tend to slide but when it's crap,r atings go up. Makes wrestling fans hard to figure.

No surprise here . I think it was the end when he became Austin Starr . But even before that , how far was he gonna go ? . Passed A.J , Daniels , Angle , Joe , Christian , Sting , Abyss etc ? . I dont think so .

I dont think so . With the talent he has and with the right booking I would see no problem with Aries feuding - or even beating - everyone named here. He's a true talent and one of the best in-ring performers in the world right now IMO
