I just watched Impact and......

it didn't totally suck. Don't get me wrong, there was plenty that sucked but I wanted to give a whole show review so I took notes for everyone that didn't watch (which I assume IS everyone).

The Good and The Bad and the Unsure (In show order)

Bad - Cornette comes out to the ring. Never a good sign.

Good - Cage runs mouth off, Cornette orders AJ/Tomko

Bad - Daniels is talking about Sting but has a stupid outfit on and bad face paint.

Bad - Backlund is screaming about wanting a match with Alex Shelley and that he has effervescence and is granted a match if he signs a waiver.

Unsure - Rhino vs Daniels - Sting comes out and beats the bejezzus out of Daniels. This could be good if it gets Daniels over longterm. However, with his stupid new outfit and facepaint he will probably be buried further.

Unsure - LAX comes out to challenge Rhino and then Konnan runs down Hector Guerrero but completely ignores Mondo sitting right next to him. Back from break Rhino faces Homicide. Hector helps Rhino win. LAX beatdown on Rhino, Hector save. LAX beatdown on Hector. Chris Harris save. LAX beatdown on Harris. All the while Mondo is at ring side and no one notices or cares.

Bad - Joe/Angle interview - Angle says he's gonna cripple Joe before Slamiversary. How, by stealing his fork??

Good - Christian Coalition. They argue about match

Good - Kaz (Frankie Kazarian) vs Chris Sabin - Good match controlled by Kaz until he's distracted by Serotonin and Sabin wins

Bad - BJ James does interview, enough said.

Bad - Eye Spy - Nash, Black Retardo, and Sonjay Dutt. Dutt claims we'll see a new Sonjay next week. Unless it is no Sonjay it will still suck, just like Black Retardo.

Unsure - AJ vs Tomko - AJ wins, Tomko thinks Cage was trying to cheat for AJ. Angle and Joe showed up during the match and just stared at each other and argued.

Overall, it still mostly sucked but I watched it and took notes so I must let them be known.

I actually did not mind Cornette coming out in the begining to show respect to Jarrett (along with the impact zone). Plus it set up Christian to run at the mouth (which he does well) as well to create disension between the Coalition.

Joe and Angle would have been good, except for the fact they already rushed this feud and it now sucks.

Christopher Daniels vs Sting would be good except for the fact that Daniel's ring attire and matching face paint looks horrible. Sometimes wrestlers like Jay Lethal and Dutt, 2 guys who are talented in the ring, need some drastically new look to bring out their personality. Daniels is not one of those guys. He was awesome before, and this new look is just lame. If it aint broke, don't fix it!

LAX is always awesome. They are one of very few groups in TNA that can be put in a lousy angle and make the best of it. Hernandez and Homicide work really well together in tag action, and Konnan working the stick is even better. (liked how Konnan called them the Dudley's on last impact)

Please get rid of Serritonin. This Raven's flock resurection is making me sick every week. It's a weak angle, and poorly executed. 2 thumbs down!

Glad to see they're finally having Roode vs Young. Roode is their best homegrown talent. Since his feud with Young, I've been really impressed with Roode's mic skills. Keep pushing this guy. Don't pull a Samoa Joe on him!

I thought TNA was decent, certainly by TNA standards. The matches were decent, the setups for feuds were okay (except of course Voodoo Kin Mafia which is a deplorable waste of air on this planet)....it wasn't bad at all.

The title stripping thing is overdone, but they seem to be making the most of it. The right people, so far, are winning the qualifiers. And Sting - Daniels could be a slick feud.

It wasn't bad....they've done worse. It's nothing worse than the WWE does sometimes. I mean they practically have Vince and his posse on almost every show. They care more about pushing him as ECW champion, and I'm sick of that. TNA is no WWE, but I find the positive in both and watch them as a fan...not just a smark and then rag on either. At least both are somewhat watchable now and that's good.

I am a huge Cardinals fan have been for 25 years but I have never seen a team I like less than the one I have seen the last two years. I look at it like this...every loss is one step closer to Captain McDrinky(LaRussa)being gone.
