So did anybody see the PPV last night?
I didn't, and read some mostly unfavorable things online but was curious if anybody here bothered to see it?

I was at the ppv last night. Let me tell you, if it wasn't for the beer, I wouldn't have had nearly enough time. Starting off, that was no cage. It was just wire strung like you would a fence. The electrified cage match was the BIGGEST joke I've seen in wrestling in some time. I even got a "this is stupid" chant going. I could complain about it all day long. There was this stupid "electric generator" sound they piped into the building... and almost every time someone hit the cage, the lights dimmed, ect. I can suspend disbleaf for some things, but come on... Glad to see 3D get the win at least.
All and all, it wasn't bad, I just don't really watch TNA, I keep up with it to a point, but don't really watch. I had no idea what was going on for most of the matches, and wasn't sure who most of the wrestlers were, putting names with faces.

I would've thought they'd hook up one of those transformers that they use for electrified cattle fences. I know from watching the Mythbusters TV show that those transformers are 10,000 volts, but only 1 amp. It's not enough to kill you, but it does smart.

Something I read said there was yet another "FIRE RUSSO" chant during the 3D-LAX match.
If you are helping run TNA and are backstage at a supposedly major ppv, hearing chants calling for the firing of your head writer has got to make you cringe a little.
I know Russo came in with a lot of baggage, but he's pretty hard to defend.
The suspension of disbelief thing you mentioned with this electrical cage thing reminds me of another stupid plot from the other day. When you have James Mitchell constantly threatening Abyss that he'll call the authorities and tell them about his mother being the shooter of his father.....I know wrestling is scripted, but it's funny to me to think they'll open talk about this on TV, but the "authorities" would never know about it unless Mitchell makes a call.
That, and everybody for weeks and weeks trying to figure out Abyss' dark secret, and then all of a sudden Sting decides it's public record and goes downtown to find out, as easy as that.

here the results from TNA's Lockdown PPV..... dont read below if u don't want the results Spoliers........................
Chris Sabin wins the X division elimination match...order of eliminations...Shark Boy, Dutt, Shelley, Lethal, Sabin wins. Great PPV starter match..the crowd was really into the match. ****
Robert Roode pins Petey Williams via Money Maker....decent match.***
Gayle Kim pins Jackie via top of the cage body block...not a great match but the Top of cage cross body was sweet.**
Senshi pins the Austin Starr withroll up... another solid match between these two..***1/2
James Storm pins Chris Harris via Superkick, in the god awful prince of darkness match..These types of matches should be banned from ever being on TV again. One of the most boring PPV matches EVER!!!! -***** (yes thats a negative 5 stars)
Christopher Daniels pins Jerry Lynn with Last Rights...Solid match..But it took a while for the crowd to get into the match (I believe it was the Fallen Angles new look and style)..But a good match.. ***1/2
Team 3-D wins the gold over LAX in an electrified steel cage when Ray pinned Homicide after a 3D off the electric steel cage.. This match was ok lots of blood and action but the electric steel cage just didn't deliver. A couple of nice spots but bad effects when they hit the cage was a bummer. **1/2
Team Angle wins over Team Cage in Wargames when Sting pinned Abyss after a guitar filled with tacks head shot by Jarrett.... Now this was a great match. Tons of sweet moves, spots, Blood and a Frankensteiner!!! Yes a frankensteiner by Big Poppa Pump.(yea it was from the ropes but it was still sweet and shocking). ****1/2
overall I enjoyed the PPV, some good and some real bad (see prince of darkness). But I had 8 people over and everyone had a great time so it was a good night... I give the PPV overall *** stars...
tkx again, the dice don't lie!

I hope NO Wrestling company on this planet has another blind fold match ever again.

Coming Next Year... TNA In the Dark: A Pay-Per-View where ALL matches are blindfold matches, and the TNA title will definitely NOT be defended, because that's not why you order pay-per-views, you order them for shitty gimmicks!

It reminded me of a poor man's version of the dinosaur pins in Jurassic park. It even had the little red lights to prove the power was on. And trust me, the electric fences are more than enough to get your attention. I walked into one in the dark one time. They make a nice "Crack" when they get ya. It will knock you on your butt, but it doesn't really hurt you. I don't know why they just didn't go with that.

I heard that the blindfolds kept on falling off of the guys' heads during the match.
Why can't the smaller TV promotions have someone smart or knowledgable about pro wrestling be allowed to book for them. It's almost as if they want to fail with some of the crap they (and WSX) have been doing.

Here's my stab at GWF rules for a blindfold match --All agility ratings are lessened by +3 to a max of +5 --All chart ratings are automatically C --Before EVERY offensive move, roll one die and see this chart: 1-2 = execute move on opponent as planned 3-4 = miss; opponent rolls on lvl 1 offense 5-6 = accidentially execute move on referee ; roll DQ and see Hurt Referee Chart Exciting!!!!

I think they call the PPV Lockdown because that is the only way that they can get people to stay.

This show sucked guys. The only thing that even came close to saving it from worst PPV ever was the Main Event...retarded ending though. Kurt Angle is so great he gets himslef stuck on top of the cage and can't figure out how to get down? Ok whatever.

Aside from the main event it sounds like another poor showing for TNA.
