Ok, so I DVR'd the show and just watched it. And I'm sorry but I just don't get it.

The opening segment has Angle going into Cornette's office. Cornette had apparently asked Angle there but then was totally surprised by Angle's arrival.

Then tells Angle he needs his assistance tonight. Which amounts to him basically backing Christian into his little holding cage. Joe then comes out and attacks Angle drops the key, CC gets out.

Cornette told CC if he interfered in the match, he loses his shot at Abyss at the PPV. Well, CC gets out of the cage and attacks Abyss with a chair. Does CC lose his shot? Probably not, but he should according to Cornette's rules.

The PCS is so retarded. They show a 35 second skit of them playing poker and then say, "here's who won." These skits should be used to build some feuds between the guys. Then Nash says the 2 guys tied for the lead have a match at the PPV, a 10 minute time limit match. Then, if there's no winner, judges will determine the winner.

Is this the Olympics. I thought refs decided winners in wrestling. Plus, why do I care if Sonjay Dutt fights Alex Shelley or whoever at a PPV with no build up?

Then The New Age Outlaws going to the Alamo to find HBK. This makes no sense. HBK I'm sure is on a plane somewhere going to do a show in front of more than 300 people so he's not gonna run around the Alamo because Road Dogg challenges him to.


Oh yeah, and Raven wears a mask like he's in Phantom of the Opera for some unknown reason.


I'm not hating on TNA. I've been watching wrestling for a long time and I just don't get it.

Payback, you said you thought the refs decided who won. In the early days of TNA there was a clock running in the bottom corner of the screen. When it went to a time limit draw a member of the chamionship committee would declare a winner.

Yeah, it was hilarious. Match would go to a draw and a predetermined member, usually Dusty or Zbysko would come out and declare a winner, after supposedly confiring with the committe that of course wasn't actually there.

I don't mind Angle beating the snot out of Raven's new flock. However, Raven's mask looked absolutely ridiculous though.

Cornette actually told Christian to get in the cage or he would lose his title shot and he used Kurt Angle as reinforcement. However, I don't see what the big deal was having Abyss beating Tomko by pin and have Christian jump him after the bell.

What has me baffled the most is why on earth would guys like Dutt and Senshi want to actually participate in a goofy contest like the Paparazzi invitational? Is the winner suppose to get a title shot? It may have been cool if Senshi got so sick of the competition and kicked Nash in the face.

Not really. At least that angle was only a few minutes long whereas TNA usually sucks from beginning to end.

Right but that was just one part of a two hour show. The entire hour of impact usually sucks pretty bad.
