... was a 1.2, according to Dave Meltzer. A good trend if they can keep it up.

That'll suck when they all lose their belts...

That'll suck when they all lose their belts... Nah, won't be that bad. It only takes about five minutes to cut one of them out in Photoshop, then I just change some text and I'm done. Plus, the belts have been fairly stable in my fed, so I'm hoping for that trend to continue.

I predict some hotshotting of the belts...Just to spite you... They'll be dropping belts like mad, so that your 5 minutes has to be done like, 11 times a day...Even in non-title matches, they'll drop the belts...specifically in matches where it's not even possible, it'll happen...You'll say "Alright, Godsend cannot lose the belt on this card. No titles on the line." Godsend will win the match, but lose the belt.... That's my prediction...Lemme know how it turns out... ;D

I have to admit too BDS, the sign is pretty cool I hope TNA can keep up ratings as well. Let's just hope Russo doesn't get out of control.

Putting the NWA belt around Abyss's waist was the smart thing to do.
Abyss is the man. ;D

A guy like Abyss winning the belt by DQ is about the dumbest thing that could have ever happened. I'm curious as to know whether or not this was a last minute decision based on Sting refusing to do the job.

I read somewhere (probably Wrestling Observer, but I can't recall right now) the day after the PPV that Sting wanted to job clean, but Russo insisted on the DQ finish... take it with a grain of salt, since I can't remember the source, but based on the other stuff going on, I believe it.

I would have to believe based on Pre-TNA interviews with Sting (and thus not affected by backstage Politics) that he would have been happy to have Abyss beat him...Looking at the roster, Abyss and Samoa Joe were the two he wanted to work with more than any others...
Once again, this is subject to conjecture, but it makes sense since he said this before his one year contract signing with TNA...

Sting wanted to do the job cleanly but Russo wouldn't let him....I talked to Abyss about 3 weeks ago, and he said that was true. I guess you can't always get what u want! The Dq title change did suck! But Abyss as champ has been SOLID!
